Chapter 4

The entire flight Zandia slept, after her discussion with Stella the evening before she realized she was slowly falling in love with her mate, the bond was winning, no matter how hard she try she felt her hold slipping and all she had hoped to not be was slowly becoming undone, she was  becoming more and more attached to Ares, her fated mate, the one person she dreaded meeting, she ran away from her pack to live on neutral land because she thought her mate would have been apart of her pack, if she had/ had the slightest idea she would ended up working for her mate she would have never left,but luck was never on her side. That was what frustrated her even more.

Ares couldn't help blush at how beautiful his sleeping omega look, he admired her face and stilled body the entire flight, smiling down at  her each time she would pout her lips up, he contemplate kissing the omega for a while, he also wondered if she was dreaming of him or if she was just mad at him for dragging her along this trip, either way the alpha knew her pouting some how had something to do with him.

"Wake up sleepy head", the alpha gentle shook her,  and she gasped out at the shocks she felt,it wasn't the shook he shook her caused her to  woke her, it was the sparks she felt jolting through her body like electricity, she had heard so much about the sparks mates feels whenever they touched each other, but never had she thought it would have felt so good against her skin an made her inside felt like lava. " Are you okay?". she looked up at him with a furious look in her eyes, upset that she was truly on this trip. " Nope, but i don't have much say, do I". 

" Of course you do, and you have a duty to our pack as well, Luna". her head  spun around so quickly she almost had whiplash. " You're making me Luna, i never said i wanted to be". The alpha was not pleased, he had waited for this moment for so long, what had he done that was so bad to cause the omega to rebel against their bond, he was upset. " Why. What did i do to make you hate me this much?".  His worlds was harsh but also disappointment was heard, but her freedom meant more to her than some mate she didn't even choose, Zandia looked at him, this man who slapped her, boss her around just because he had the right to, he dragged her away from what she called her home, and her only friend. " You, don't have the right to ask me such question, especially when you've never even take the time to know what i want ".  she walked past the alpha pushing him from her path, but he didn't move he stood his ground against her small frame, his eyes found what he so desperately wanting to taste, as if the omega knew what he was thinking she tried pulling back but the alpha caught her before she could move away from him, and kissed her, she didn't refused but she didn't kiss him back, until she lost the battle inside the one she knew she was losing a grip on, the alpha smiled into the kiss as he explore the inside of her mouth.

He notice how obedient she was, she let him took charge of the kiss, she submitted her self to him and that kiss. The alpha let go of her, but she was so into kissing him that she didn't realize her eyes was still close and her lips pouted." Yet you said you don't want me, I find that hard to believe Omega". She was embarrassed her cheek showed the prove of it, he had won again making the alpha three and she none, how furious she was shown on her face, she grabbed her carry-on luggage and pushed him again this time she made certain to use enough force to push him from her path. Ares chuckled and fixed his suit, he made his way to the car that was waiting for them outside, the minute he stepped outside the plane he saw his best friend and beta Matt, They both greeted each other like brothers, they exchanged a few words before Matt brought up the omega his alpha was travelling with. " I'm not sure if she won't reject me but she is my mate, and your Luna". 

" Reject you, what did you do, Ares". Ares looked at his friend and beta with a shocked and hurt face, but then he remembers Matt knew him very well sometimes even more than the alpha knew himself. " Nothing, but base on what Van found out about her, she doesn't want a mate, in fact she ran away from her pack because of that reason, she's also a beta's daughter".

" Then alpha, wouldn't her pack be looking for her?". The alpha sighed and pinched his nose. " Yes, the pack is looking for her". Before Matt could say another word Zandia pressed down on the car horn making a lot of noise, the alpha turned around and glared at her, but she refused to let up of the car horn. " I think that is your mates way of telling us she's ready", Matt said laughing at the alpha. Before they could enter the car  Ares stopped him and whispered  to keep the fact he found his mate a secret for now, and Matt gave him an okay look.

 The drive to the pack house was two hour long, Zandia tapped the window, she sighed out loud, she hissed her teeth, she even went as far as making loud fart sounds with her mouth, Matt found it to be funny but the alpha of course knew she wanted to annoy him, every few minutes he would give her a look as to say stop but she would just do it even more. They were almost at his territory when Ares pulled over to the side of the road. " Zandia, listen I know you don't want to be here, but these people are my family each and every one of them, and I would really appreciate you treating them as such". Zandia rolled her eyes at Ares and stretch her arm out towards Matt. " Hi, I don't believe your family member introduce us, but I am Zandia Avangrid and I'll be staying on your alphas territory for a few days, please take great care of me". Matt was delighted the omega introduce her self he was going to cuss his best friend for not doing it earlier and he still will, but he was glad she did.

 Ares was shock at what just happened he never thought she would have been so polite and nice to his pack member after he forced her to be her. " Close your mouth alpha and don't catch flies, not because  i don't approve of what you did doesn't mean i will be rude to innocent people".  The alpha cleared his throat and mentally told himself to scold her for speaking to him like that in front of his beta. 

Small houses started to come into view for Zandia, she thought they were cute and imagine how they look from the inside, she saw how clean the people kept the pack and admire how beautiful they're lawns and flowers looked, but what amazed her was how big the pack house looked, Ares stopped in front the huge mansion and he notice the look on his mates face. " Now you close your mouth omega before you catch flies", The alpha said chuckling. Matt glared at him and shook his head. Zandia rolled her eyes and get down from the vehicle she shook her head at her mate. " Can you stop being childish for a minute alpha, i would like to freshen up".  Matt tried stifled his laughter, he was pleased at who his Luna was, he thought she was sassy and would actually challenge the alpha. " Oh so when you said it, it was funny but when i said it its childish, women". 

" No, it's just that you seemed to really want to get me back for telling you that, but i shouldn't expect anything more from a ruthless alpha". The alpha had/ had enough of her sly and rude remarks. He stormed towards her like a predator sizing up its prey. " Listen omega, I'm alpha, you speak to me like that again, well i don't think i need to remind you of what happen last time you stepped out of line, and trust me this time it wont be that simple". The omega gulped at his words, what did he meant by it won't be that simple, the words kept playing over and over in her head. " Matt , ask one of the maids to prepare a room for Ms. Avangrid".

" Yes alpha". And with that Matt walked away, but he wasn't far gone to not heard what Zandia said.

" Some alpha you are, didn't even prepare your guest room for the guest". Ares c****d his head a mischievous smile lingered across his lips, Matt stopped and stood there stilled.  " Is that right omega. Matt forget about what i said, the omega will be staying in my room".

Matt knew better than to question his alpha so he sighed and shook his head, he knew this game all too well, and he knew his alpha was a decent man but he was still afraid the omega was in over her head.

" What i will do no such thing". 

" Are you sure omega". She didn't say a word she folded her arms under her breast as a sign of standing her ground. The alpha laughed at her cute she looked, " Matt grab our bags, and tell the maids to get the guest room ready for my guest", He said through their link. " But i thought you were going to. " no Matt, i wanted to get a reaction from her".  They both laugh at what they said through the link. " Okay alpha, I'll take the luggage to your room".

 " To hell you will, I'm not staying with this thing". The alpha scoop her up putting her over his shoulder, Zandia kicked and cuss at him, but little did she knew the alpha took amusement in this, he knew how badly he affected the omega and he knew how badly she wanted to win against the bond and him which is exact  reason he brought her to his pack, so she would have all the reason to accept him and none to reject him.
