Hayle felt her bed shifting slowly, which mildly disturbed her. She thought she would feel the warmth behind her again. She had been waiting for Jaxter all day, but as she closed her eyes, he still hadn't shown up. This time, Hayle felt the movement in front of her while she lay on her side with her hands tucked under her cheek. Slowly, she opened her eyes, making sure it wasn't someone else beside her now.
