Jaxter remained silent. Once again, he felt it would be wrong to debate health issues with this woman. So, it was better to stay quiet. Seeing him no longer comment made Hayle smile satisfactorily; at least she felt she had won this debate. "What vegetables do you like, then?" Hayle asked again. She didn't want to appear selfish by only buying vegetables she liked. "None. I like meat," Jaxter replied curtly. "You still have to eat vegetables.
