Jaxter nodded softly again, not wanting to be seen as an inattentive father to their unborn child.
"Can I have Ramen?" Hayle suddenly remembered the delicious ramen near her old campus. Slurping warm noodles might boost her appetite.
"No," Jaxter replied flatly, dampening Hayle's spirits. "You should know that's not good for your pregnancy."
"I asked for Ramen, not instant noodles. The noodles themselves are fine; it's the seasoning that's the issue because of its high sodium content. Noodles cooked with healthy seasonings can also be nutritious," Hayle explained.
Jaxter fell silent, realizing he couldn't argue about health with Hayle.
"Can I have it?" Hayle asked eagerly, her eyes sparkling, impatiently waiting for his response.
"Tell Roberto what kind of food you want," Jaxter sigh
