Chapter 6: Getting to know the Playboy

“You can drop me to the nearest Mall,” I told him without glancing at him. I am busy checking on my IG and trying to check if Elise has already contacted me. But until now, no message and calls from her, meaning she is still with Roux, having fun without me!
“What’s the important thing that you will do in the mall that you have to skip class?” He asked in a curious voice.
Slowly I lifted my head and turned towards him completely forgetting about my annoyance to my sister.
Dimple guy is busy looking on the road, he is too focused on driving.
“Nothing,” I answered and he glanced at me with a curious face.
I don't have to explain to him and it is not his business.
“You can just go to the mall later, why do you have to skip if your agenda is not important-“
“And you can just focus on driving and stop being nosy because it is irritating.” I glared at him but he just pouted in a very cute way.
D*mn cute way.
I sucked my breath and looked away. I can’t believe that I have mentally praised him several times already.
That is something!
“I love irritating you though.” He said before he winked at me.
I turned to look at him and rolled my eyes at him.
He chuckled.
“And why is that?” I asked in an annoyed voice.
“Because your facial expression when irritated is really something! I love it!” he smiled as he watched how my eyes widen.
He surely loves to tease me.
“Assh*le.” I said then shook my head. “Just drive and eyes on the road.”
“Aye, Ma’am.” He teased and finally shut his mouth.
We finally ride in silence.
“Are you sure, you wanted to go to the mall? Seems like you just want to skip classes and got nowhere to go-“
“So what are suggesting?" I cut him off.
After moments of a peaceful ride, he decided to break the silence when we are near the mall.
“Well, maybe you wanted to hang out with me? In a cooler place than go to the mall and just what? Shop or eat?” He suggested and shrugged.
As if shopping and eating is something he finds so boring.
“And why would I want to hang out with you?”
“Because you like me?” He teased. His eyes are gleaming with happiness.
Should I poke his eyes?
No, that would be a waste, his eyes are really beautiful-
Saoirse! Get a hold of yourself!
I shook my head and just focus on glaring at this confident guy.
“You have a big ego, you know that?” I pointed out but he just laughed at me.. his dimples are showing off again.
“No, but I was told that I have a big..you know?” He said with a playful smile then he looked down as if trying to point out something.
My eyes suddenly turned wide and automatically looked down to where he looked at.
“Jerk!” I said when I realized what he was trying to say and he just burst out laughing.
He really seems to be having fun.. as if he finds me like a sort of entertainment.
“What? I am telling you the truth!” he said while still laughing hard.
“Are you going to shut up or I am going to kill you?” I threatened.
Can't he be serious? He is too playful.. like too happy-go-lucky guy.
I saw how hard he tried to stop laughing and I just shook my head before I looked out of the window.
Thank goodness I am near the drop-off area.
I can’t stay with this guy for so long. It is really annoying.
Yes, he is interesting and different from others, and yes I like him..
But what I meant by I like him is.. I like him better than everyone who’s not a part of my family or friend list.
“Here we go.” He said with still a hint of a teasing voice.
He stopped the car, so I removed my seatbelt. Then I turned towards him.. he is looking at me expectantly.
Is he expecting me to say THANK YOU?!
Well..sorry but he will be disappointed.
“I won’t say thank you," I said then paused. His lips parted as if surprised to hear what I have said.
"Because you owe me big time" I paused. And he looks as if he understood it. "And not because you drove me here means we are already okay,” I said then raised my eyebrow at him. “Because we are not. You still owe me!” I exclaimed then I gave him a mocking smile before I went out of the car.
When I am already out, I fixed myself and without a word, I turned my back on him then I started to walk away from his car but he suddenly called me so I have no choice but to look back at him.
“Not even, a goodbye?” he asked, his passenger window is already opened.
His eyes are teasing and his dimples are showing. He looks gorgeous, especially with his sportscar.
He looks like a playboy.
I put my arms in front of my chest and tilted my head.
“No.” I said and he just laughs again.
He nodded and raised his hand on me as if waving at me.
“Bye. Your highness, see you tomorrow!” He winked at me and drove away.
I just shook my head and continued walking.
That guy surprisingly was able to lessen my gloomy mood.
Bantering with him, made me forget my anger.
I am feeling less annoyed with Roux and Elise now.
So I need retail therapy to calm my nerves. I badly need to calm down or else I might be a monster with my twin sister later and she...being so nice and loving will just cry if we happen to fight!
But I just don't really get it. Sacha is not someone who will leave me. She loves me so much and I know no matter what a person says to convince her, if it comes to me..she will still say no.
She will always choose me like she always does.
So..what did Roux say to convince her? And it is so unlikely of her not to even send me a message!
I took a deep breath.
Her explanations should be good or else I won't forgive her that easily. I will make sure that she will feel guilty for what she has done.
Actually, what saddens me is that this is the first time she chose someone else over me!
He is not even her boyfriend, just a best friend!
So how can she choose him over me? When I will always choose her over my best friends Megan and Amber.
Because we are not just sisters or best friends, we are twins! Our souls are intertwined with each other! We have that special bond that no one else can give us.
I shook my head in disappointment as I entered a high-end store.
