Chapter 4: Callahan the Playful One

The morning classes are boring! Or maybe I am just so excited to have lunch? I wanted to see Roux already!
I keep on checking the time and keep on hoping for the bell to ring already.
Why is the time so slow to pass by when you are so excited about something? The professor is still talking in front, but what he is saying is not even relevant to our topic. I think he is just trying to prolong the class and it is irritating.
So I raised my hand to catch his attention.
“Professor, it’s almost lunchtime now. Can we leave already?” I asked in my sweetest voice and I saw how the professor scratches the back of his head.
“Ms. Saoirs Eloise-“ I cut him off. The first thing that would annoy me and ruin my mood is when someone will mispronounce my name.
It is unforgivable.
“Professor, it is Ser-sha Elo-wis, not Saoirs Eloise.” I told him while giving him a disappointed look.
“Ohh sorry.” He said before he smiled awkwardly and I tried so hard not to glare at him!
I know that he is trying to be nice because it is known that our family is a major stockholder of this University..and it is annoying to see them try to be on my good side when obviously they are just doing it because they are afraid of me and my family!
I keep on chanting in my mind that this old guy is my professor and I have to respect him even if he doesn’t deserve it.
I may be mean but my parents raised me well, at least respecting elders is the one that I do follow amongst everything that my parents have taught me.
Or should I say it is one of the few, that I am following?
I heard some giggles from my back so I turned around to glare at those irritating girls. And I think they got the message because they shut their mouths and looked away.
Annoying creatures!
The bell finally rings!
And that saved the girls from trouble, if not for the bell..I will do something to wipe off their smiles.
“You’re not eating with us?” Megan asked when she saw me stood up fast.
“Nope. It is my Roux and Elise day!” I winked at her and she pouted.
“Can’t we come with you?”
“Sorry Amber, but you two can have me Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but Tuesday and Thursday are a No-No..” I smirked at her and she rolled her eyes at me.
“Come on! Why can’t we come?” Megan asked in a disappointed voice as she gathers her things.
“Just because!” I shrugged.
“Ugh! You are so annoying!”
“I know Amber! Because at times I am also annoyed with myself!” I joked and they both laugh.
“Fine! See you later in our next class, b*tch.” Megan said and I smiled widely.
Thank goodness they did not insist to come with me.
I just really want to be with Roux..and Elise.
Actually, if given a chance, I just want to be with Roux alone!
I mentally giggled.
I was so busy with my own world and was not looking at where I am going when I bumped into a post.
Or maybe it is a person, with a muscular body?
“Sh*t.” I said as my things fell on the floor.
I actually almost kiss the floor if not for the strong hands that caught my arms.
“Are you okay?” asked by a sexy voice.
But I don’t care how sexy his voice is. Because he just bumped me!
I tried so hard to keep my cool as I look towards the stupid guy who blocked my way.
I was greeted by soft brown eyes and thick lashes. When our eyes met, I felt like I was being hypnotized..
His eyes.. it is so beautiful.
Roux Dimitri’s green eyes make me feel so calm and relax..
While this guy’s eyes..it makes me…forget everything.
It makes me lose my senses.
It’s like I just want to look at his sleepy brown eyes.
“Miss?” he asked with a ghost smile on his lips that made me wake up.
I blinked.
And when I realized that I am staring, I cleared my throat then glared at him.
“You think I’m okay?! You blocked my way and now look, my things are all on the ground.” I said in gritted teeth as I pointed out my things.
The guys chuckled.
“I did not block your way, you are not looking on your way.” He accused.
My eyes narrowed as I looked at him.
This guy maybe doesn't know me, for he has the guts to talk back to me, and to smile like that!
Is he trying to flirt with me?
Looking at his face properly..I admit, he looks good.
He actually looks hot.
He has thin lips, sleepy eyes, and dimples.
And he has this smile that can make a girl’s panty drop.
Good thing I am immune to that kind of guy!
“So you are telling me, that you are looking at your way?” I asked as I put my arms in front of my chest.
I can hear the students around us whispering.
“Yes.” He smiled, showing off his dimples.
“Then, why did we collide?!”
“Because I let you bumped me,” he smirked.
Is he crazy?
I took a deep breath as I tried to calm myself.
He is testing my patience!
“And why would you do that?!” I asked.
Are you stupid? I wanted to ask him that but I just pursed my lips to stop myself.
“Hmnn..nothing..maybe just to get your attention?” He shrugged.
My lips parted. I was caught off guard.
Is he serious?
“Why? Do you lack attention?!” I asked.
His eyes grew wide then he laughed.
His laugher sounds sexy too.
D*rn it, Saoirse, stop associating the word sexy with this crazy guy!
He is not sexy! He is annoying!
“Ohhh wow! I knew it.. you really are interesting.” He smirked then he picked up all my things and gave them back to me.
In a normal situation, I would make sure that I will wipe off that smirk from his face.
But I am too busy with my own world wondering if this guy is normal?
And because I wasted too much time with him, I promise to myself that I will deal with him some other time, for now, I need to meet Roux and Elise!
And I am already late!
So I shook my head as walked past him.
I will deal with him some other time.
“By the way, I’m Callahan! Nice to meet you Saoirse!” he said and that made me stop from walking.
How the hell did he know about my name?!
I turned back to look at him, but he has already started to walk away..
I glared at his back.
We will see each other again, and I promise, I will make you pay.
