My vision was hazy but I could still see my best friend getting her groove on the dance floor. I puckered my lips at that. She was such an elegant dancer even without trying but I couldn't even move two steps without falling on my face. Lukas nudged at me, probing to take it down with my drinks. He has been saying that the entire night without even slurring. How was he not affected by the alcohol? Maybe it is just me. I thought to myself. Being lightweight sucks. He pulled the shot glass from my hand making me frown. "Why..." I slurred, adjusting my vision to the harsh lighting. He shook his head and held my arm. Goosebumps pricked my skin at his touch. Why did I feel that way whenever he touched me? It was the third time now. The first two times we bumped hands together accidentally.
