Six months later I looked in the mirror and smiled. My heart started beating a bit faster as I decided the tuxedo was just right. Today was the day! A day filled with love and laughter, friends, family, and the promise of forever. My speech wasn’t written but I decided to wing it, from the heart of course. I went downstairs to find Karani ordering the caterers around. “You look so handsome! Have I told you lately how proud I am of you?” Karani said as she looked at me, smiling as I stood at the bottom of the stairs.
