My Dad left my room a few moments later. I sat there and sulked and considered just getting a new phone tomorrow. Then I thought of where the conversation with Carrie left off and knew I couldn't wait. I checked myself in the mirror. My hair was up in a high ponytail and looked fine. My face was a mess. My mascara ran while I was crying. I sighed and grabbed a make-up removing cloth and did my best to clean it up. I quickly dabbed on a little foundation powder and did a quick swipe of bronzer. Then I lined my eyes and put on some mascara. Pleased, I grabbed my phone and purse and headed downstairs. I looked around but didn't see my parents. I assumed they had gone upstairs to take a nap.
