The meal was served first and like the meal the evening before, it was delicious. There was chicken with roasted vegetables, shrimp scampi for those that preferred seafood, abd a variety of finger foods and side dishes. It was all served buffet style and the wedding party went first. I grabbed myself some of the roasted chicken and a salad. I was starving but I didn't want to overdo it and end up with a food baby. That was not the look I wanted in my skin tight dress.
I sat down and Jon came and sat beside me a second later. I looked over at his plate and nearly spit my food out. I may have chosen to eat light but Jon had apparently tried to get one of everything. His plate was piled high and I started to giggle into my hand, trying not to draw any attention to myself.
