I stood on the terrace to watch Christian hurry out of the house to enter a cab that had been waiting for him.
I thought of stopping him but figured out that he needed to do this on his own.
I knew he lied to me yesterday when I asked him if he had found anything about the people that adopted his twin brother. I later found out for myself that they were hunters and that they were killed by werewolves during a battle.
My thoughts are that it might be the same battle that killed his biological parents and killed his twin brother's foster parents.
Even though I want to be mad at him for lying to me yesterday, I can't help but understand his reasons for doing so.
If the family that picked his twin brother were hunters, chances are that his brother might be a hunter too.
