Chapter Nine Walkyr swallowed hard when she pressed the cold tip of the very sharp knife against his throat. The woman had moved with surprising speed and agility, and given the way she was straddling his back, her foot placed so he couldn’t move his good leg, the knife tip touching the artery in his neck, she clearly knew exactly where his vulnerable spot was. She leaned forward, pressing her body against his back. “I know what you are. I will ask you two questions. I suggest you answer them truthfully or, so help me, I’ll twist this knife all the way through your jugular. Do you understand me?” she murmured near his ear.
