Darlene’s pov I avoided him for the ensuing few days. I made sure he wasn't home when I went to clean the rooms and didn't stay in the dining room during meal times. I found it hard, as my heart kept yearning for him, but I managed. I chastised my dragon whenever she resisted and blocked my thoughts, hoping to overpower the bond. Well, I succeeded.
