The atmosphere at breakfast was awkward to say the least. They sat in the grand dining hall, just the pack and the King. The king sat at the opposite side of the table to them, with Remus stood at his side. There was no talking at all and utter silence other than the clank and squeak of cutlery against the plates. The pack was never this quiet, especially at breakfast time, and Jemma already longed to be back at the pack house. She felt a little bad for Remus, how everyone around him was eating and he was just expected to stand. Again he seemed uncomfortable, just as he did the night before and she began to wonder what his problem was with the pack. More than likely it would be Tristan, everybody hated the fact that they had a vampire in the pack, but it was none of their damn business
