"What?" Raven asked, her voice filled with confusion, but I was too shocked to answer. My eyes were wide open, my heart pounding violently in my chest. Why was he calling?
My mind did relay of everything I had been through in the hands of that jerk and I felt like smashing my phone so that I didn't have to hear his voice.
The way he embarrassed me at his wedding calling me a slut and all manner of names and …. Huuuuuu! Breathe Athena! Breathe….
I looked at my phone, inhaled and exhaled heavily and then spoke to Raven who was still calling my name and she was panicking.
"J- Jav -Javier," I whispered, barely able to force the name out.
"What does he want from you? And how dare he call? That pathetic loser!
Don't end our call for him, girl. He doesn't deserve that after all
