Chapter twenty three; pest
Angel has watched Sawyer remain quiet for more than twenty minutes and she cannot pretend to be okay with it anymore. By the next step she takes, Angel stops as she stares at him.
They are now in front of the apartment, but she’s not ready to let him go easily. Sawyer senses it and he stops as well. He turns to her and she walks towards him.
You won’t say anything again? It’s palpable that there is something wrong, it’s like you are against the whole group.
What happened between you and Peter? Angel asks.
