Chapter twenty; pest
He lets go of her hand when she chooses to walk away from him. Sawyer sees something distressing in her eyes and he wants to be a part of it. He wants to know her concern, but she just caught him off.
Did something happen between you two? Ashley asks.
Sawyer doesn’t say a word as he begins to follow Angel, Ashley watches as he chooses to put her on hold for the second time today before she enters into the karaoke bar.
A part of her is wondering why Sawyer Morgan, the boy who has only shown importance to her is chasing after Angel. With great regret, she walks back in. She cannot afford to make it so obvious that there is and was always an undying feeling for him.
