Tucker
My fist was clenched. I was fuming as I made my way over to Courtney and her friends. Apparently the guy had been hanging around for the past hour or so and he'd taken his opportunity when the clock struck twelve to kiss her. To kiss my eleven year old sister what the hell was wrong with this dude? He was like seventeen or eighteen why was he kissing an eleven year old girl, my goddamn sister.
He turned and smiled. I wanted nothing more than to wipe that smile off his face. "Hey you must be Tucker I'm…"
My fist connected with his face and stumbled. "What the hell man?"
"That's for kissing my sister!"
"Little overprotective aren't we?"
"She's eleven."
"I know and you're adhs best friend right I'm his bro.."
"I don’t give a s**t who the hell you are just stay the hell away from my sister."
"That's up to her, don't you think?"
My fist flew at him again.
I heard gasps. "Tucker what the hell?"
I looked at Courtney. "You let this asshole kiss you!"
"I..I.. "
"You disappointed me sister " I said, shaking my head.
"It was nothing Tucker it meant nothing, okay will you stop attacking every guy that kissed me first Bryce now Lawrence."
So that was the assholes name.
"He's too old for you."
The guy had the audacity to laugh out loud. "Whowh bro you gave your wires crossed. Its new year live a little it was just a new year's kiss it meant s**t Gee I'm old enough to be her older brother, yeah I like her but not like you think. You listen to my brother too much, dude he's full of shit."
"Tucker you apologise to the young man we're all calling it a night"
"Okag dad." I sighed and looked at Lawrence, whoever he is. "Sorry."
"It's cool man I know what my brother is like, okay. "
I nodded. I guess I was the only one who didn't.
He asked away heading back over to Ace and another dude who I've never seen before.
They all went into her house. Courtney looked at me and shook her head. "I'm sorry sis, Ash just got me riled when he said that dude had kissed you."
"I was shocked too, Tucker but there was no need to use your fist."
"I know I'm sorry."
She smiled at her and hugged me. "At least I know you would protect me if I needed you to."
"I'll always protect you sis. I promise."
"Come on let's head inside everyone's gone."
I nodded. "Are your friends staying?"
"Yeah yours,"
"Yeah. "
She smiled as we headed inside. My arm across her shoulders. I'm glad she forgave me for what I'd said I should never have said it. I know that now.
Simone
Courtney walked back in with Tucker; they were both smiling. I guess they sorted out their differences. "I'll see you on the morning sis."
"Sure Tucker."
He took his arm from around her and kissed her forehead saying good night it may as well be see you in a few hours.
He'd seemed to be trying harder with Courtney after everything that had happened between them and with her. I wouldn't be so easily forgiving. But Courtney was different than me, she was more forgiving and her and Tucker had got on well before the Ashton fiasco.
"See you all in the morning."
It is morning dude." Theo laughed.
He flapped his hand. "Whatever later guys."
"Yeah later."
He slothed upstairs and we all settled on the sofas and the floor whilst Tucker and his annoying friends were staying upstairs. "So what went on outside with Lawrence ?"
"I don't know guys. He kissed me out of nowhere. I wasn't expecting it."
"I bet you weren't."
"Shut up Theo." I looked back at Courtney after sending Theo a death glare. "Is that why Tucker landed one on him?"
"Yeah Ashton must've said something to him."
"That's no surprise. Ash and Lawrence are close and if he doesn't like someone aka you he'll do everything he can to stop whatever hes brother is after so please be careful Courtney its not even worth being friends with him."
"I will."
