It had been pure hell this last month. If only Courtney and Issac weren't do dumb. I sighed, rallying that would never happen. They were so alike it scared me we were starting highschool September. Between both of them and their pranks could end up with both of them ending up in detention or worse on report. I heard so many different stories about how the headteacher and the teachers didn't tolerate messing around and those two sure knew how to mess around.
We were all heading over Simone’s as it was the weekend and our grounding was finally over until the next time. Like hell will there be a second time!
I was meeting everyone there. This is going to be interesting. Ace and his friends were going to be playing against us, but we had a secret weapon: Courtney, no one could beat that girl at anything, believe me I know.

Thank god the last month was finally over, finished, finito. I'm never listening to Issac ever again. I'm not ever having another month like the last one, unable to use my TV, mobile, PlayStation oh my god I was so damn bored. We'd hardly had any homework as the SATS were coming up and we had to revise for them. Our tutor had us doing mini tests to make sure that we were prepared for all of them.
Simone had invited us all over
Today to go up against her brother I couldn't wait to wipe that smug look off his face cause we had our best weapon yet: Courtney. She was better than the rest of us. I hope that one of those idiots will go up against her and that she will win.
We were all meeting there. I hope to wipe the smug smirk of Ace's face he always wears when he thinks he'd about to get one one on you but this time te won't be dk lucky. I was greeted by a smiling Simone. Hey Jay come on in."
I smiled as I stepped in. "Come on in we're just waiting on Courtney and Issac."
I smiled following him down to the basement where all of our friends were as well as Ace's. Where was he anyway?
"Ace will be down shortly."
I nodded and we went over to our friends.
Issac
I met Courtney outside her home and waited outside for her. Her parents were still angry at me for getting Courtney involved with my stupidity and it was stupid we hadnf though that fad she'd abx I'd we would be in the dog hour after. So I for one aren't making any more stupid mistakes or the next one could cause me to loose Courtney. I couldn't let that ever happen, she was one of my closest friends and I couldn't lose before something so stupid and pety. She smiled as she made her way over to me. I returned her smile and dropped my arm over her shoulders. "Are you ready to go?"
"I am."
I smiled and we walked away heading towards Simone’s. "So, are you looking forward to our little tournament today?"
She looked at me smirking. I guess that meant yes and she had something up her sleeve.
We were both expecting Simone to answer the door, but to our surprise Ace did. He smiled at both of us. "We don't just seanc there come I'm everyone's waiting to start."
We stepped in, he closed the door and we followed him down the basement where everyone was waiting.
"About time now we can start!" Simone said, sarcastically, earning sarcastic glares from both Courtney and I.
Ace
What had meant to be a one day snooker battle turned into two and to say I was impressed with Courtney's skills was an over exaggeration. She must've been practicing.
We all entered the basement and of course my sister had to say a sarcastic comment about them finally arriving.
"Well you all know each other so there's no need for any introductions. The rules for this tournament are quite simple. I will flip a coin to see who goes first and so on. Whoever wins the fiat game will play the winner of the next and this will go on until there are two players left are we slm clear?'
A chorus of yeses echoed in the basement. "Right let's get started."
Simone and Lawrence were up first and I must admit they played well. My sister must've been looking down here to play when I was out with the guys. I'll be having words with her later.
Three of Courtney's friends had been knocked out, Courtney was ultimately against Brandon this was going to be fun to watch. He tried everything to determine her but no luck.
He was going a ghostly colour as he watched her do some of my signature moves but with a twist. I smirked, that was my girl. I'd taught her well and she'd perfected the moves I'd taught her. Brandon didn't take too well to losing. It was now almost eight in the evening and we decided to call it a day and continue tomorrow. With only Theo, Issac and Courtney left to play, this was going to be fun.
The second day went well and Theo was up against me, Theo was up against Timmins once those two are out of the game or came back around tk Courtney and Lawrence. I watched him struggle against him; he knew I'd been playing snooker with her as well as Timmins and Marcus had. She'd got better and it was showing. She never deterred against any of them, leaving her to play against me.
Her friends watched with hope in their eyes.
We played for over the next hour I could see she was tiring but she pushed on and finally potted the black. I smiled and stretched my hand out. 'Well done Courtney you played well despite your tiredness you continued."
She shook my hand. "You too, good game."
"Maybe we can do it again when you're nor so tired."
"I'll hold you to that." She smiled the most beautiful smile I'd ever seen.
She pulled her hand away, her friends and my sister jumped on top of her screaming she'd won. I grinned. I wonder what she would think if age knew I let her win. She'd kill me for sure so I'd keep it to myself. I prefer seeing a happy angel than an angry one.
