Mr. Clifford (headmaster)
Here we go again. Since Ashton Barraman has turned up here he's been nothing but trouble and that goes for his friends too. They're nothing but trouble makers.
I see how all the girls hang around all of them like love sick puppies.
Who I am surprised to see is Isaac Walker; he's never been in trouble before. This is the first time he's been in my office. All the teachers praise him for how hard he works in class. In all honesty I have no idea why he's in a fight with another pupil.
Asher on the other hand has been in that many fights this term he's on thin ice. Tucker and Bryce, well those boys aren't in any way as bad as Ashton but they are close second and third which is why I am surprised that they pulled the two apart instead of joining in.
"You all know why you are here, what I want to know is why the fight started.
"He provoked me."
"I provoked you!"
"I warned you to stay the hell away from Courtney."
"She was in my space."
"You don't own the school Barraman! She can walk where she likes."
"Well she needs to ask the other way!"
"It's a free country Barraman! Stay the hell away from her!"
"Yours starting on my sister again?!"
"What can I say? I was bored."
"Will you all be quiet!" I roared, shutting them the hell up. I can't bear everyone talking at once and especially over one another. "Right you, you and you wait about in the waiting area. I'm going to talk to you all separately. I'll talk to Issac first then Ashton, Tucker and Bryce before I decide on the punishment ice I have. I'll bring Issac and Ashton back in and you two will be free to go home."
This was going to be one long ass day. Everyone left Isaac in my office. Good at least he and Ashton Barraman won't be arguing over each other whilst I get to the bottom of this.
Issac
I look at our headmaster and he looks disappointed in me and right now I don't give a rat's ass. I'd do it all again to keep that douchebag from Courtney. He's caused enough s**t for her over the years. This is him upping it because he got bagged down.
He knew Courtney and I were an item yet he pursued her.
"Was it true that Mr. Barraman has been targeting Courtney Mendez?"
"Yes sir. It started when she moved here as it hadn't stopped since. No one knew why he targeted her, but him."
"I see. Now I'd like to ask why and how the fight started in the first place."
"He's approached Courtney at lunch, taking a dig at her."
"What did he say to her?"
"I wasn't there, it is best to ask him or Courtney, sir. "
He nodded.
"So you threatened him to stay away from Courtney Mendez?"
"Not in so many words. I just told him to stay away from her and he got all cocky so I hit him."
"What exactly did he say, Mr. Walker?"
I took a deep breath and started to explain what had gone on before I was dragged off Barraman. "He said that I was delusional if I thought he was interested in "that leech". I want her out of my face and my life. So I told him to stay away from her.
He kept taunting me so I hit him."
He nodded. "I'll sort this out Mr. Walker. I don't tolerate bullying in any way shape or form.
He pulled himself up and headed to the door, opening it. I stepped out. "I'm see you now Mr. Barraman."
He pulled himself up and we made eye contact, cutting our eyes at each other before he went into the headmaster's office and sat down as the door closed.
Ashton
Mr. Clifford closed the door after I stepped in. He casually went to his desk sitting on the corner, something was always been told never to do. "Should you be sitting in the corner of your desk? Rules and all." I smirked.
"This is my office Mr. Barraman and I can do what I damn well like in it! Be aware of that before you open your mouth again."
"Yes sir."
Damn someone's got their undies on a twist or they haven't had any this morning.
"Now Mr. Barraman." He paused looking at me. "I want you to run through your side of the story of to why you sad Mr. Walker was fighting in the corridor when you should've both been in classes?"
"Well you see sir. I was on my way to class when Isaac came at me."
"And why exactly did he come at you?"
"He was angry that I had spoken to Courtney. He doesn't like anyone talking to her. He's possessive over her."
He nodded.
I hope he's falling for this s**t. It's half the truth anyway.
"So you never bullied her?"
"No I didn't sir. We may not get along, but I'm no bully. We stay out of each other's way."
"And today?"
"We just happened to be in the same place. We had a argument over something really stupid and she must've have taken it the wrong way."
"I see. But, if I find you're lying you will be expelled, are we clear?"
"Yes sir."
"Well that's all Mr. Barraman." He said, opening the door."
"Thanks sir.'
He nodded, then looked over to Bryce and Tucker. "Boys you may come in now."
Wait what? But, why were they going in together when me and Walker went in separate? This is so un f'n fare.
I glared so did Walker. I guess he was as confused as I was. I slumped down
Bryce
Tucker and I shared a look, we were both as confused as each other to why Mr. Clifford had called us bitb in and not separate wasn't that what he'd already said.
"I know you boys are confused right now. I ain't this whole thing wrapped up. And as you were both together your stories will match up so we don't need to drag this out any longer than necessary, agreed?
Makes sense.
"Yes sir." We both said at the same time.
"So would you like to tell me in your own words what you saw? And no talking over each other."
We nodded and I spoke up.
"Me and Tuck were walking to our last lesson. We heard shouting from down the corridor and people egging on Ash and Isaac."
"I see."
We continued down the corridor then we saw Ash and Isaac laying into each other so we tore them apart."
"Did either of them say anything?"
"Ash wanted me to let go so he could finish the fight." Tucker said.
"Issac told me that Ash had been harassing Courtney again."
He quitted an eyebrow. "Do you think Mr. Walker was telling the truth and not gunning for a fight with Mr. Barraman? Because he was talking to Courtney Mendez?"
"No sir. He said Courtney had told him and Courtney never lies."
He nodded. "How many times has he harassed her?"
We both gulped we needed to tell the truth even if it meant putting our Ash and losing him as a friend.
"Since Tucker and Courtney moved here, sir. He doesn't like her and he lets her know on a daily basis."
He turned to look at Tucker. "And you let this happen to your sister?"
"He won't listen sir. We've tried to tell him to stop, he just ignores it."
"I see." He paused. "Has anything happened recently to cause this change in him?"
"I guess. He's been off for weeks and Courtney won't even talk about it. It got worse when my sister changed her whole appearance. He seems to have some kind of vendetta against her.'
"I see. Thank you both for your input. You may go home. I'll be sure to keep an eye on Mr. Barraman and Miss. Mendez."
We nodded.
"Things won't get any better sir they'll just get worse."
"Thanks for your warming but, I think I can handle this."
"Yes sir."
He opened the door and we walked out of the office.
"Mr. Walker, Mr. Barraman please come in and we'll discuss your punishment."
They pulled themselves up heading to his office. Walker nodded at us and Ash glared daggers at us. I guess he knows we pitted him. Tough s**t I'm sick of standing up for him when it concerns my angel. I guess Tucker is sick of it too.
