Hunter McKenna and I stepped out of the shop, our hands full of bags. The city was alive with energy, a far cry from the quiet of my rural upbringing. I felt a bit adventurous living here now. "What movie should we watch?" She asked. "Whatever you want. You choose," I replied. "How about a horror movie?" McKenna chirped. I raised an eyebrow. "You like scary movies?" "I love them!" she replied enthusiastically. "Unless you don't like them. Then we can watch something else." I grinned. "Actually, I enjoy them quite a bit. Your mother and I used to have a horror movie marathon every Halloween," I said, smiling at the memory. McKenna smiled at me. "Okay then let's go. I am excited!"
