Chapter 8

“Uh—“ “The door is open, Come in,” Tristan said with affection evident in his voice. ‘For what reasons was he being so suddenly nice to her? She doesn’t need the affection now.’ She braces herself to walk inside the room as she holds onto the knife under the tray properly. She had carried it when the rest of the people in the kitchen were unfocused. She knew Tristan would want to make a move on her but before he did, she would make a move on him first. She walked inside the room with eyes and head bowing, it’s not respectful. She was just so disappointed that she had to enter this room again. She got to the table stand and placed the food and drink on it, as she slowly raised her body. She turned back and saw that Tristan was staring at her deeply. The gaze was too deep for her and it was as if he wanted to pierce out her soul. She was about to take a step forward when her legs quivered, she was weak. She stood still for a while with her head bowed as she didn’t know what to do. She thought it was easy to kill, why was she finding it hard? Does she still have feelings for this wicked soul? No, she doesn’t. Or maybe, she still does. She closed her eyes for a minute as she didn’t want to embarrass herself in this room. Tristan’s taunting gaze was making things worse for her. “Selene,” Tristan’s voice sounded behind her as she was about to turn, he wrapped his hands around her waist, he wanted to make up for his actions but to Selene, this wasn’t the right way. She wiggled herself, wanting him to let lose on her, “Leave me, alone.” How dare he think she would just fall into his embrace. He is a cheat and he deserves nothing good. “You are my mate, you know that.” “I can’t sense you.” That’s because you are yet to discover your—“ “Wolf?” Selene asked as she scoffed hard. “What do you mean by I’m your mate? Do you think at all, Alpha?” Of course, she was putting distance and level to this thing. Since she was no longer familiar with him, she would no longer call him by his name. He is now her leader and she was a servant. Their levels aren't the same. “You shall free me from this instance”. “I wish to hold you here. You clearly can't command your Alpha. Except you want to have your throat slit opened.” This time, Selene's body went still. He was so shameless that he had to use his cruelty on her with his words. “Selene, I want you,” his deep voice echoed in her heart. He knew she wanted him to. “Let me have you to myself, Selene,” he said as he gently rubbed his perfectly pointed nose on her left ear. “I. I do not wish—” “I command it! You have no say.” Look at how pathetic her life was, she turned to look Tristan in the face, she saw the obvious affection in his eyes but all of that didn't matter now. He belonged to someone else and not her. “Okay,” Selene hugged Tristan as she brought the kitchen knife out of her sleeve. She placed the sharp end of the knife on his spinal cord and he froze. Selene was pleased with his reaction, “shall you release me this minute?” “No.” Before Selene would say anything Tristan used his reflexes to switch positions with Selene. This time he was the one holding the knife and Selene was at his mercy. “Haa!” She gasped. There was no way she would believe that Tristan would be able to pull out of her grip. “Why are you hard?” “You want me, don't you? I know you want me”. At this point, Selene could no longer drag with him. She knows that she still loves him but what she didn't appreciate was being lied to and cheated on. She was no toy to be played with. Alpha Tristan gently dropped the knife as he held her by the waist, this action made Selene's breath shudder. She subconsciously placed her hands on his chest and when she got to realize her actions it was too late because Tristan had already drawn her body closer to him. If she should place her hands down, the young Alpha would draw her in for a kiss. “Let your guard down for me, mama”. He whispered into her ears. “I'm here for you. Let me be here for you,” he said as he caressed her cheeks softly. These were the things that got her almost all the time when they were in a relationship, the sweet nothings he whispered to her always had a special effect. She loved this man. She wants him. They both stared at each other as they moved closer to each other, the tension between them was palpable. Their bodies collided. Selene’s breath was heavy with anticipation. Tristan kissed her hands as he stared at her. She turns him on without even trying. She was a piece of art. A fine art. He pushed her gently on the bed and Selene’s head became fuzzy. She raised her head as she stared at Tristan. What was she doing?! She knew this was wrong. Oh, she knew. “Trista—” “I love you. You know this.” She wasn’t sure if she knew it. The only thing she knew now was that she was committing a sin. A good sin. Tristan pulled off her clothing as he looked at her body, a fine body she had. He had never seen someone as ravishing as she was. It’s so sad that she can’t be his woman. She is his mate but not his woman. “You… you look good, Selene.” He complimented her, and she blushed hard. He used his hands to caress her boobs, they were not perky nor were they flat. It was just how it should be. He bent his head as he held on to one of her boobs and bit the n****e lightly. “Argh!” She screamed out in pleasure.
