Chapter SixTalcen looked around and all he could see was the dark and wooded path that twisted and turned ahead of them. Even if it wasn't official, it was clear that the camp had begun. The others came out of the black behind him. “It's like we stepped into a whole new world,” Nari said as she looked around.
“Yeah it is, I like it, let's follow the rest of them so we don't get behind. I imagine there are some nasty things in these trees just waiting to take a bite out of us, come on,” Ticcen replied and started to move with the others. None of them were sure what the natural predator of a vampire really was but none of them wanted to find out.
There was something heavy in the shadow filled air that was setting everyone walking down the path on edge. Nobody knew where this path was going
