Talcen saw Amanda was using herself as bait here. A distraction and he wasn't going to let it go to waste. He crept out the shadows and prepared himself for battle. Amanda fired again and hit the horse in the neck. It screeched again and seemed prepared to dismember the annoyance with its metal hooves and teeth as it started to walk towards her. “Oh, you stupid unicorn, you can't kill me. You were brought here for us to kill you. You're nothing more than a test,” Amanda said and wondered how accurate this thing really was. Was it a real unicorn or just a machine made to mimic one? She had heard stories of the monsters before and they were completely not this, they were far more aggressive, violent and horrible. This seemed like a mindless beast made to get in the way.
