Chapter Ten“Group seven made it to the house, sir,” a vampire said sitting at the monitor. “Good, give them a few minutes of rest then we'll let loose the construct situation,” Izor replied with a smile. He looked on the ten monitors and so far, every group had done pretty well for their first day into the trip.
All of their progress was about the same, too. Izor was pleased with this and had the next step of the trials all planned out when suddenly an alarm started to blare.
“What in the hell is that?” Izor asked and tried to find the source. It only took a few seconds before he figured out that it was coming from the lake. “I don't know, it doesn't make any sense,” the vampire at the controls said and focused in on the lake.
“Is someone stupid enough to try and cross it?” Izor asked.
