Marcus wanted to say a whole lot of things but kept them to himself. His new prayer would be that Xavier would need things up for Jessica so he could have her and he would hope that he would need to meet Jessica again soon. They finished the rest of the meal in silence. Both men moved to the living room while Jessica helped Angel to clear the table. She brought a cup of coffee each for them so they can sign the contract. Marcus and Xavier took the time to talk about some of the legal problems with the company and how to resolve them. Jessica joined them shortly. Marcus gave Jessica a copy of the contract and another one to Xavier. Jessica only went direct to where she needed to append her signature and she asked for a pen. "Can I have a pen?" she asked and both men looked at her.
