Emily's POV
It was late in the evening and I was done with all my duties for the day. I stood by the doorway, about to move to the field or a more interesting place in the pack when I heard someone panting heavily and running towards me.
I quickly realized it was Austin, but I wondered what could be wrong again.
"Emily, you need to hear me out. Come on, come on." He said and pulled me to himself, running towards an empty room.
He pulled me in and slammed the door shut, leaning on it while breathing heavily.
"What's wrong? Did anything bad happen?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
