****1 year Later****
“And that’s how we got here.” I said to the reporter.
“Wow.” He responded, “No one ever knew any of that was going on behind the scenes. You all kept your composure very well I must say.”
“It wasn’t easy, but we managed.” Steven responded, “It’s nice knowing that the three of us have all gotten so close.”
“So where do you all go from here?” The reporter asked.
“We move on. We spent all of our world tour as a trio and we’ve come to the decision as a group with our record label that we will remain a trio.” Derek said, “But we’ve changed our name.”
“Ah yes. The unveiling of the new name as well as the new album cover. The moment we’ve all waited for.”
“We’ve decided to drop the dreams and stick with Harmony.” I smiled, “And here is our newest album cover.”
On the screen that was to the side of us our newest album cover titled “New Beginnings” popped up. It was a basic cover. The back drop was white. The boys were in tuxedos with red ties while I was in a red silk ball gown with matching red high heel sandals with my hair blowing in the wind.
“Truly remarkable.” The reporter smiled, “Have any of you seen or heard from Lacey since that night?”
“I see her at family gatherings, mainly.” Steven began, “Otherwise she’s left us alone for the most part.”
“And Ivy, have you heard from your mother?” He asked me.
“No, I haven’t. She’s left me alone. But I think the restraining order might have played a role in that.” I smiled.
“Alright, before we wrap this up I hear that you Ivy and Derek have an announcement to make.” The reporter smiled.
I held Dereks hand and couldn’t believe we were about to share our secret with the world. We’ve been hiding not or two secrets but three secrets.
“Well, we have three secrets that we want to share.” I smiled, “About 6 months ago we eloped and got married in Jamaica.”
The live audience started cheering and I felt my cheeks flush.
“Oh congratulations congratulations.” He smiled, “And the other two secrets?”
“They are two little secrets,” I smiled as I put my hands on my belly, “And they are two little twin girls due later on this year.”
I’ve been wearing loose fit dresses and shirts over the last 6 months. But it was getting harder and harder to hide my two little beans as they grew bigger and bigger.
Derek proposed on the last night of our World Tour and of course I said yes. We eloped a month or so later and have been nearly inseparable. We conceived our two little beans during our wedding night. The first few months of my pregnancy were miserable. I was sick every single morning, I started bleeding thinking I was having a miscarriage but I learned I just had a condition called placenta previa which meant my placenta was in front of my cervix. Something else that we found out was my twins were mono-di twins. This meant that my twins were identical, sharing a placenta, and each had their own amniotic sac.
My pregnancy was a high risk pregnancy which meant eventually I’d not be allowed to partake in any stressful situations otherwise I could end up in the hospital or on bed rest. I was also on pelvic rest which meant I couldn’t have s*x. Derek will deny it but he’s counting down the days until we can have s*x again.
Derek has been so supportive throughout all of this. He’s been put on the radar for being accused of being abusive, he’s dealt with Lacey and Cathy drama. He’s dealt with every thing a man can think of. And he only complained a little bit of the time. He’s especially been excellent when it came to dealing with my mood swings and insane cravings. Even if that did include marshmallow fluff and pickles.
Derek was the love of my life. I’m glad we got to start a family so soon. I’m glad that we get to live our dreams together with Steven by us. I wouldn’t trade this life for the world even if it had an unnecessary amount of drama. Our love was great for each other it was an international love.
