I started running in the woods. I tried going a different way than what I did earlier. I admit nerves and adrenaline was running through me as I raced through the woods.
After a while of me running in the woods I heard a howl. It was Jace, he was entering the woods, the chase was starting now.
I looked around everywhere for a place to hide. All I could see were trees. I kept running until I heard the water. So I went in the direction of the water sound. That’s when I came across a waterfall.
I looked at the waterfall and the body of water it was going into which seemed to stretch beyond the horizon.
“It’s the lake!” Star yipped in my head.
“How can this be part of the lake?” I asked her.
“It is a big lake! You never walked around it! But it is the lake!” Star said.
