“I saw something that you need to know about,” daddy said, and that immediately caught my attention. Though it was still morning and it was Emeldah’s first day at work, I needed to talk to Doctor Liu face to face.
I didn’t think much but told her to excuse me. “Emeldah, since you are bored, you can take a break. Go stroll in the garden or something. I need to make important calls,” I told her.
She looked at me unsure for a bit and then said, “okay Princess Kate. Will do so!” I hoped she would not faint out there or something, because I wasn’t sure what it was that she had put inside my coffee, which ended in her body anyway.
