Four years later
I needed to show up! It was time to take my rightful place. Lucian was turning 39 and he was left with just a year for him to give up the throne or fight tooth and nail for it.
I've watched our interactions with him not recognizing me whenever we had to work together. He wasn't aware that it was me and that I knew everything happening in his kingdom.
He was always conflicted when around me, and didn't know if it was me or not. I knew he couldn't feel the mate bond because someone I shouldn't have trusted did something to him. The worst part was that Lucian didn’t know about all this.
Liu adopted me and told me everything I needed to know concerning my parents, my real identity and my destiny.
It was a pity that I would never get to meet my parents. T
