“I’ll speak with him…” Alex said lastly with a pained expression.
“…It’s for the best…” Elena left without saying anything else.
After a rather long and drawn out conversation, finally they part ways.
Even thought Alex didn’t feel like going to work anymore he had to. So he went back home, took a shower, re-dressed and headed to work. ‘Hopefully I won’t meet any more of Vincent’s friends…’ he thought to himself.
He didn’t want to recall Elena’s words so he focused on his work. Even so occasionally he got distracted and decided to take a short break. Coincidently he saw Vincent and Anna talking outside at the time.
