Vincent picked up Alex and gave him a ride to bar Heaven’s Door after work. As he parked the care his lover pulled his sleeve.
“Are you sure I should be here?” Alex asked as he was nervous of being around Charles still.
“Why not? It’s a double date!” Vincent replied to reassure his lover that there is no problem.
“Wait, we will be meeting Mr. Callenreese’s girlfriend?” Alex asked in the most formal possible way.
“It’s his boyfriend and why are you so formal? Just call him by his first name, it’s Charles.” Vincent corrected his lover, he felt like if he spoke so formally it would ruin the friendly mood.
“I know, it’s just I don’t think we are acquainted enough for me to be casual with him. It would be rude.” Alex explained himself.
