“Its crucial that you do so, Alpha. Normally, you would have been required to mate with her, but given her condition, I wouldn’t advise that. Marking her is the only possible way to get her body to heal now that her wolf is too weak to do so.” Doctor Redington explained what he meant to me and why I had to do as he said, like I didn’t hear him the first time.
My body stood stiff. This was not something I bargained for, and yet I felt a crippling amount of guilt eating me up.
