I always wondered how great life would have been with her by my side, but it turned out it would have been the worst for her and myself.
I couldn’t believe what my ears had heard. I could still hear Beta Orion’s chuckle and Weston’s dark laugh as they recounted my past and June’s, but I wanted to believe it was a joke they were making about it.
