Alana's POV It had been a long day, but at least I had Mona with me. It was clear there was no love between the beastly women and I, in fact, it was getting clearer and clearer to see they hated me almost as much as I hated them. The Prince returned early, and he looked like he had been fighting all day, and for all that I knew, it was really possible that he had been fighting from the moment he left my side. I knew that he lived for violence, and nothing that I said or did would change that. He went straight for a shower and then asked for food. We ate together, and he kept talking about mundane topics, like the weather and the conditions of the castle, not that I cared, or paid much attention to him. It was hard enough to focus on not letting myself be attracted to him, something
