Chapter FiveLatonia did not get the chance to talk to Lord Branscombe alone for the next forty-eight hours. She noticed that he was being charming and, for him, almost effusive to the young Rajah. She thought that the young man responded, but she was aware that the pupils of His Highness’s eyes were still dilated and she wondered if Lord Branscombe had noticed it.
