Chapter 11

Ivan's pov:

I stood up from my bed and fixed myself before heading downstairs, I quickly saw Mom preparing some sandwich.

"Good Morning Ma." I said with a little smile.

"Kain na anak," sabi ni Mama habang tinatapos ang tatlong sandwich.

Habang kumakain ay hindi ko naman maiwasang isipin si Edrian dahil 2 araw na ito sa loob ng empire at hindi namin ma-contact, matapos kumain ay nag-paalam naman ako kay Mama at pumunta sa kampo.

"Good Morning boss," ngiting bati ni Clarrise.

Tumango naman ako rito at mabilis nilabas ang mga gamit ko.

"Does anyone here have some news from Edrian?" I asked.

"I got a bad news." Arjhay said with a poker face.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Hindi tayo makakahingi ng inpormasyon kay Edrian dahil ang empire ay may bagong machine para di makatawag ang kahit sino na nasa labas," sagot ni Arjhay.

"When will Edrian return?" I asked once again.

"Bukas," tanging sagot ni Arjhay at lumabas.

Mabilis naman akong tumayo sa upuan ko at sinundan ito, nakita ko naman na palabas ito kaya mabilis ko itong pinatigil.

"Don't use your ability on me Ivan." He said with a warning tone.

"Hindi mo manlang ba ako kakausapin?" tanong ko rito.

"Wala na tayong pag-uusapan Ivan." seryosong sagot ni Arjhay.

"Yes we do Arjhay." I firmly said.

"Ano pabang gusto mo ipamuka sa'kin Ivan!" Galit na sigaw ni Arjhay.

Dahil dito ay hinawakan ko s'ya at pinalutang kami pareho papunta sa dati naming tambayan.

"Why are you acting like that Arjhay!" I firmly said because I'm already fuming in anger.

"Diba eto naman ang gusto mo?" tanong nito.

"Hindi na tayo bata para mag-inarte ka ng ganyan," sagot ko rito.

"Sige tatanungin nga kita Ivan, kaya mo ba akong mapatawad sa nagawa ko noon?" seryosong tanong nito sa'kin.

Bigla naman akong hindi makaimik at bumalik sa'kin ang ala-ala kung pano kami nagkakilala.

*flashback*

Mabilis kaming tumatakbo ni Mommy palabas ng empire pero nakikita ko na hinahabol kami ng mga robot cops, I slowly raise my left hand and I was able to lift one robot and hit it with the other one.

"This way Ivan." Mommy said and drag me to the empire's gate.

"shyt." She cursed because 10 robotic cops are infront of us.

"Mommy I'll try something." I said before lifting both of my hand.

The robotic cops suddenly flew high before I smashes them hard on the ground, I suddenly felt dizzy so Mom quickly carries me and run.

"They're chasing us Mom." I said with a weak tone.

"We'll escape them Ivan, trust mommy ok?" she asked.

"Yes mommy." I whispered.

Mom runs ever faster because the robotic cops are now shooting at us, I lift my hand once again and block the laser that's about to hit us both.

"Hang on Ivan." Mom said.

Mom suddenly didn't notice a rock while led us to fall on the ground, I looked at Mom's shoulder and it's beading even more.

"Run, son, please run." Mom weakly said.

"No Mommy." I said before coming close to her and hugging her.

"Please God help us." Mom helplessly said.

All of the sudden a truck hit all the robotic cops near us, the side of the truck suddenly opened and I saw a boy near my age with a man beside him.

"Arjhay tulungan mo ang bata ako na bahala sa nanay n'ya," sabi ng lalake.

Lumapit naman ang batang tinatawag nitong Arjhay sa'kin at tinulungan akong tumayo at sumakay sa truck, tumingin naman ako kay mommy at kita ko na ginagamot ito.

"Ok ka lang ba bata?" tanong nito.

"Medyo Ok lng ako," ngiting sagot.

"Ako pala si Arjhay, ikaw ano pangalan mo?" tanong nito.

"My name is Ivan." I said.

The he suddenly hold my hand and shake it.

*end of flashback*

"I don't know Arjhay." The only words that came out from my mouth.

Arjhay suddenly held my hand and pulled me closer to him, at this moment I knew that I became a mess again after my lips met his.

"I'm sorry Ivan, I was a coward before. I never knew that nobody really care if I fall for you, I'm sorry for hunting you baby." Arjhay whispered while our forehead are against each other.

"It's not yet the right time for this Arjhay." I hopelessly said.

"All I want is an ensurance Ivan, I'm not gonna rush you." Arjhay said with a smile on his lips while rubbing my left cheek with his thumb.

"I'm still a mess." I said while looking at his emerald eyes.

"It doesn't matter to me Ivan, I already love you since they day we met and I was so stupid for hurting you before." Arjhay said before leaning close again and making me feel his lips against mine once again. "I'll wait baby."

Third person pov:

Hawak kamay ngayon si Ivan at Arjhay pabalik sa kampo, Arjhay hate to admit it but he's madly Inlove with Ivan and he doesn't care if people will judge him with his choice.

"I wanna keep this secret for now Arjhay." Ivan said while leaning his head on Arjhay's shoulder.

"Why?" Arjhay asked while he smells Ivan's hair.

"I want everyone to know about us when the we're able to win against the empire." Ivan said while looking at Arjhay's eyes.

"Is that what you want?" Arjhay asked.

"Yes." Ivan responded.

"Then let's keep this a secret just for now." Arjhay said with a smile before holding Ivan's face and planting a soft kiss on Ivan's lips.

Inside the empire, Jannelliza is currently eating her lunch when a guy suddenly sits beside her.

"Hi Gen. Jannelliza." Morrigan greeted with a smile.

"What do you think your doing?" Jannelliza asked.

"Eating my lunch." Morrigan said with a smile.

Di na lamang pinansin ni Jannelliza ang binata at kumain na lamang ito, biglang napatigil si Jannelliza dahil naamoy n'ya ang mabangong pag-kain ni Morrigan.

"Did you bring a packed lunch and eat it here?" Jannelliza asked.

"Oo eh, mahal kasi ng pagkain dito eh nag-iipon ako," ngiting sagot ng binata.

Napansin naman ni Morrigan na panay tingin ni Jannelliza sa baon n'ya kaya bigla itong may naisip.

"Gusto mo ba gawan din kita ng lunch bukas?" ngiting tanong ni Morrigan.

Bigla naman nagulat si Jannelliza dahil sa sinabi ng binata, ngumiti naman si Morrigan dahil gusto n'ya mapalapit sa dalaga.

"Masarap ako mag-luto promise." Taas ni Morrigan sa kaliwa n'yang kamay.

"Fine, here at the pantry every 11:30 am meet me here." Jannelliza said before she stood up.

Morrigan smiled successfully because his crush notice him, Jannelliza was preoccupied till she reached the arena.

"Yo General," nagising bati ni Marcial.

Hindi naman ito pinansin ni Jannelliza at pumunta sa opisina nila at tinapos ang ilang huling mga paperworks.

Ivan's pov:

Kinabukasan ay pansin ko agad ang pagiging malapit sa'kin ni Arjhay, idinikit naman nito bahagyan ang braso n'ya sa braso ko.

"Teka ayun na ata si Baks." Turo ni Louiza.

Kinuha ko naman ang binoculars ko at tama nga ito dahil si Edrian ito, ngumiti naman bigla sa'kin Arjhay kaya siniko ko ito dahil baka may makahalata.

"I'm back!" Matinis na tili ni Edrian.

"Jusko bakla hindi ka namin ma-contact," saad ni Jaiceph.

"Everyone go to the camp." I said with authority.

Tumango naman sila at mabilis umalis, ngumiti naman sa'kin si Arjhay bago tumango at sumunod sa kanila. Huminga ako ng malalim at tinignan kung meron tracker ang motor ni Edrian pero wala naman, pagkarating ko sa kampo ay lahat sila ay nag-uusap.

"First of all, I wanna say that I feel relief that you're finally back Edrian." I started.

"Thank you boss." Edrian thanked me with a genuine smile on his face.

"Can you tell me what happened inside the empire?" I asked.

"Everyone is not allowed to get our of the empire for a week, Gen. Jannelliza used a technology that can prevent everyone for contacting some out outside the empire. They tighten up the security in and out of Empire which led me to no choice but to break some electric cops, after that I heard some rumors that Gen. Jannelliza will try to find the leader of the Rebellion and shut us all." Edrian said with a serious expression.

"They can never shut us down, specially no one really know who's Amo behind her mask." I said to them.

"Pero paano kung ikaw ang iniisip nilang pinuno nating mga rebelde?" tanong ni Clarisse.

"Jannelliza isn't stupid enough to think that I'm the leader of the Rebellion, Jannelliza is smart and I know that she'll think that our leader is just inside the empire specially they are able to remove the device of Amo." I explained.

"What device?" Arjhay asked.

"A device that help us both to get inside the empire." I responded.

"So that means that they know that we're the impostor that they are looking for?" Arjhay asked again.

"Yes, but they I know they won't be able to search for your identity since you were born here and not inside the empire." I explained.

"So what is our next move?" Jerico asked.

"I want you all to be ready because I know that Jannelliza will try to send some empire electronic cop, I want every single one of us to roam outside the our base while I tried to get some information from the empire." I said with a serious voice.

I quickly rolled out a map that shows our base and the empire.

"The empire is slowly expanding and soon enough, I know that they'll be needing to take us down to build a land on our base." I said while holding a stick.

Tumango naman sila sa sinabi ko.

"I want you all to train yourself as hard as you can so if that they comes it can only mean one thing, and that's the war between us Rebellion and the Empire. We must be ready for everything, hundreds of life might be put on danger if we are not ready for any possible outcomes." I said while walking infront again.

"Pero paano kung si Gen. Jannelliza mismo ang sumugod sa'tin?" tanong ni Johnrey.

"She won't be a problem anymore, I can handle her and fight her back." I said with a blank facial expression.

"So all we need to do is to get ready?" Louiza asked.

"Yes, specially if that happens and none of us is ready then we all die in the battlefield." I responded to her question.

Tumango naman sila at sumangayon sa'kin.

"This meeting is officially done." I said and we all stood up.

There's no longer room for mistakes anymore, we have to be ready for the next move of the empire against us or we will die.
