Chapter 29

Jannelliza's pov:

Gulat akong napatayo sa upuan ko matapos kong malaman ang nangyari sa loob ng empire, the Rebellions are really doing what they want specially I'm not around to protect the empire.

"Is Morrigan ok?" I asked to Kris Ann.

"Wala na si Morrigan sa oras na 'yun kaya ligtas s'ya," sagot ni Kris Ann.

Hinilot ko naman ang ulo ko dahil sa ginawang pag-pasok ng mga rebelde habang wala ako sa loob ng empire.

"Maybe they did it because of their leader," Joan uttered and joined the conversation.

Tumingin naman ako kay Kim bago mag-salita. "Kim I want you to look for the leader of Rebellion and return quickly if you saw him, we need to talk to him."

"Yes General!" He saluted before running away with his hermes boots.

"What are you planning to do General. Jannelliza?" Kris Ann asked.

"We need some answers from him," I responded before standing up and getting my mercury sword.

Lumipas ang 10 minuto ay bumalik na rin si Kim.

"He's in the battle area," Kim informed.

Tumango naman ako lumabas, sinundan naman nila ako hanggang marating namin kung nasaan ang leader ng Rebellion. The prisoners went silent after they saw me, the leader of Rebellion still wear his mask even if he's not in his territory.

"What can I do for you General. Jannelliza?" he asked.

"Perhaps you didn't know that your mens entered the empire and create a chaos inside," I said with a blank tone.

"Me mens will do anything they want specially I'm gone, they'll do what it takes to look for me," he responded with a smirk on his face.

"Then I'll kill you here if they try to attack again," I responded with a warning tone in my voice.

"You can't scare me General. Jannelliza," he responded.

Dahil dito ay mabilis kong nilabas ang Mercury sword ko at inatake sa kanya pero mabilis n'ya itong nasalag gamit ang Venus Scythe, we both distanced ourselves before attacking each other again. His move looks like his scythe is just a part of his body while all I could do is to look for an opening, I quickly saw an opening but he managed to avoid it. Susugod pa sana ako rito pero humarang na sila Kris Ann sa'kin, tumingin naman ako ng masama sa leader ng Rebellion habang pinipigilan din ito ng dalawang babae.

"I already warned you before, a rebel like you don't belong inside the empire," I firmly said.

"At mas maganda na mga magnanakaw ang nasa loob ng empire, ganon ba ang gusto mong sabihin General?" Panununbat nito habang hawak ng dalawang babae.

"Wala kang alam sa Empire tandaan mo 'yan," diing sagot ko rito.

Tumawa naman ito na tilang nag-uuyam eto pero mararamdamab mo na kaya ka nitong tapatan.

"Kaya pala pumayag kang gawing halimaw ng sarili mong ama, bakit mo nga ba ito ginagawa para sa Empire? Sa Pera? Sa kasikatan? O ano? sumagot ka!" Galit na ganti nito.

Sasagot sana ako pero hinila na ako palabas ni Kris Ann at Joan habang naka-sunod si Kim, I took a deep breath to help me calm myself.

"It looks like you found your match General. Jannelliza," General. Marvy teasingly said.

Imbis na mag-padala ako sa pangangasar ko ay tinignan ko lamang ito na parang basura.

"Shouldn't be you afraid that that rebel is far more stronger than you, I already beat you once General. Marvy so it's impossible for that the leader of the Rebellion won't even waste a sweat on defeating you," I retorted.

Mabilis naman itong tumalikod at iniwan kami, bumalik naman ako sa kwarto at naisipan kong tawagan si Morrigan.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Are you safe?" I quickly asked.

"Don't worry about me Jannelliza, nasa bahay na ako nung oras na 'yun kaya safe na safe ako." Uminom ng Kape na sagot ni Arjhay.

"Is there something missing?" I asked once again.

"The red chip of Dr. Ylreveb is missing, that chip is connected to all of the satellite on our 8 planets," Morrigan replied.

"Don't worry Morrigan, I'll ask Marcial and Kurt to watch over you while I'm here in Russia," I said to him before taking a deep breath.

"Ano kaba Jannelliza, I can handle myself." A laughing Morrigan responded.

"I'm just concerned about your safety Morrigan, mahirap na ngayon," paliwanag ko.

"Just calm down ok? I'll be fine," he said with a calm tone.

I took a deep breath before I nod at him, he's right about calming myself because no one got hurt.

Ivan's pov:

Huminga ako ng malalim matapos umalis ni Jannelliza.

"Wow, you can fight General. Jannelliza head to head," Dalisay said with amazement on her voice.

"Jannelliza is strong but I need to stand my ground specially I'm protecting my people, I have to be strong so no one could harm them," I explained to her.

"Next week. The event will start, I'm not sorry if I need to fight the both of you," Cess suddenly said.

"I will survive, I still have alot to prove on my territory, " Dalisay calmly responded to Cedd.

"It's the survival of the strongest, I'm not gonna go easy on everyone because my people are waiting for me," I said before turning my back on them when the guard called me.

Tumingin naman ako sa mga gwardiya at na kita ko agad si General. Marvy na palapit sa'kin, susuntukin sana ako nito pero mabilis ko itong inilagan at tinadyakan.

"I've already had a fight with one General, don't tell me that you wanna try your luck on me?" I arrogantly asked.

Tumigil naman ito at tumingin sa'kin ng masama.

"I'll make sure that you'll die inside that place, I'm gonna make sure that you'll beg everyone to kill you," General. Marvy said.

"It kinda amazed me how a general like you threatened me even tho I don't feel threatened, I'm stronger than you General. Marvy. No matter what your throw at me I'll come out as victorious," I responded.

Jannelliza's pov:

Sumapit ang gabi at kasama ko na sila Sittie na umiinom, lumapit naman si Sittie sa'kin at tinaas ang shotglass n'ya.

"My God loosen up abit Jannelliza!" Sittie energetically said.

I shook my head on her because she's now dancing to the beat and following the rhythm, kinuha ko naman ang margarita ko at sumipsip dito.

"Don't get drunk too much Sittie," I responded.

"Don't be such a kill joy Jannelliza," Sittie retorted before rolling her eyes on me.

"I'll just go to the bathroom," I said before drinking my glass of margarita.

Pag-pasok ko sa banyo ay agad akong nag-hilamos, tumingin ako sa salamin at nagulat ako dahil may parang isang ninja dito at mabilis nitong tinali ang leeg ko. I quickly used the sink to push my body and it causes the assassin to lose his grip and causes us to fall, I quickly got up and attack him.

"Who ordered you to attack me?" I madly asked.

Imbis sumagot ay sinipa ako nito sa tyan kaya naman hinablot ko ito at hinambalos sa lababo, I lifted the assassins head before taking off his mask.

"I'm gonna ask you again, who ordered you to assassinate me?!" I madly asked.

"General. Marvy," he responded.

Pinasok ko naman ito sa isang cubicle bago tunawin ang bawal na pinangsakal nito sa'kin, I made a liquid metal and put it to his mouth. I let the lequid metal entered his body before I close my first which made it hard and spiky, he slowly turns palse while his nose is bleeding.

"The biatch should be thankful that I'm in her territory or else she'll be dead," I said before locking the dead body inside the cubicle.

Ngumisi naman ako matapos kong lumabas dahil na kita ko agad si General. Marvy na kausap sila Sittie, lumapit naman ako sa kanila at mukang na gulat naman si General. Marvy matapos akong makita.

"It's nice to see you here General. Marvy," I said with a smirk in my face.

Kinuha ko naman ang bagong margarita ko at ininom ito sa harapan n'ya.

"What took you so long inside the restroom?" Sittie asked.

"I just took care of a mice and now it's dead," I said with a sadistic smile on my face and sending General. Marvy a warning.

"I'll go ahead everyone, have a great night." General. Marvy turned her back on us before walking.

"I'm actually having a great time right now General. Marvy, specially my night became thrilling." I laughed.

Kitang-kita ko naman kung paano mag-sara ang kamao nito dahil sa sinabi ko, matapos nitong umalis ay agad lumapit sa'kin si Kris Ann.

"Did something happened inside the restroom?" she asked.

Dahil sa tanong nito ay tumingin na rin sa'kin si Sittie, Joan at Kim.

"Someone tried to assassinate me," I responded with an uninterested tone on my voice.

"Is it still alive?" Kim asked.

"Don't worry it's dead now," I said with a sadistic smile.

"You tortured him with your Polaris, am I right?" Sittie asked with a smirk plastered on her face.

"I made him swallow a liquid metal before making it hard and spiky inside his body which caused him to die," I responded because she taught me that technique after knowing about my ability.

"I love you Sis!" She shouted before hugging me while jumping.

"But who ordered the assassin to kill you General. Jannelliza?" Joan asked.

"Naka-usap natin s'ya ilang minuto lamang ang lumipas," ngising sagot ko sa tanong nito.

"Oh my gosh! She's such a biatch," Sittie said after realizing the person behind the assassination.

Umiling naman ako bago inumin ang natitira kong margarita, if she thinks that I'll be scared, she should think again.
