Battle 31

Ivan's pov:

Kasalukuyan kong ginagamot ang sugat ni Cess at Dalisay nang mapansin kong palapit sa'min si General. Marvy, tumayo naman ako at sinalubong ito.

"Congratulations for staying alive without any scratches," she said with a smug face.

"I won't die here," I said with a pokerface.

"Are you afraid of me now?" she asked.

Instead of answering her question, I stood firmly and looked at her from head to toe.

"I'll never be afraid of you Marvy, I'm a rebel. Rebel never bows down to anyone," I responded while looking at her eye to eye.

"Don't worry rebel, I'll make sure that you die on the next event. Because someone like you doesn't deserve to live," she retorted before turning her back on me.

"She really wants you dead," Cess started.

"She can never kill me," I responded.

"What if she did?" Dalisay asked.

"I'll make sure she dies first before me," I responded.

Tumayo naman kami nang dumating ang mga guard at dinala kami sa mga selda namin, napa-hinto naman ako nang makita ko si Ate Jannelliza na nasa harapan ng selda ko.

"You did a great job today rebel," she started.

"I need to survive so I could go back to the Philippines," I responded.

"Then you better stay alive," she uttered before turning her back on me.

"Drink moderately next time," I said before entering my cell.

Kinaumagahan ay agad akong bumangon para ihanda ang sarili ko, matapos ang ilang minuto ay bumukas na rin ang selda ko kaya lumabas na ako. Nakita ko naman agad si Cess at Dalisay na naka-ngiti kahit may mga benda sila sa katawan, umupo naman ako sa tabi nila at ngumiti.

"Finally your awake," Cess said with a smile plastered on her face.

"How long have you been waiting for me?" I asked.

"5 minutes," Dalisay responded.

"What do they have for us today?" I asked while looking at General. Marvy walking up to the stage.

The just shrugged their shoulders as a sign of they don't know anything.

"I'm here to inform every single one of you that 2 days from now will be. 3 person challenge will change into mechanical fight. Each one of you will be facing a new mechanical robots that's made for keeping the nation peaceful," she announced before leaving us.

"They are expecting us to see how strong the machines are so they could make it more stronger so no rebel could handle it," Cess commented.

"The best way to do it is to break it as fast as possible," I asserted while eating my breakfast.

Matapos kumain ay dumiretso kami sa training hall at na kita ang ilan pang bansa na makakasama namin.

Dalisay looked up and read the screen. "The only remaining countries are Philippines, Japan, Ireland, Russia, Brunei, Greece, Denmark, New Zealand, United States, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Afghanistan, Algeria, China, Hong Kong and North Korea."

"It's nice to see you here R," Muraco said.

"So the leader of Hearenthel Rebellion is still alive," I said with a poker face.

"Why? Are you scared of me?" Muraco said with a smug face.

I smirked and all of the sudden my scythe is now is in his throat.

"You should be the one scare of me Muraco," I said with a threatening tone.

Lumayo naman ito at galit na tumalikod sa'kin, tumingin naman ako kay Cess at Dalisay bago tumango. Cess and Dalisay decided to do a handicapped training since I got no injuries unlike them, Cess is now holding her Hammera while Dalisay is holding her Shibori Samurai.

"Fight," I said.

Dalisay was the first one who attacked me using sharps winds but I ended up slicing it easily using my Venus Scythe, I quickly use the edge of my Venus Scythe as a sniper and hit them but Cess quickly blocked it using her Hammera. Cess shoot a ray of blue light to my direction which force me to make my scythe to take the hit, I didn't know that Dalisay will attack me but I still manage to avoid it.

Third person's pov:

Tahimik na pinapanood ngayon ni Jannelliza si Ivan na nilalabanan si Cess at Dalisay.

"If he wasn't a rebel, he would be a good use on the empire," Jannelliza said.

Ivan is dodging every attack of Cess and Dalisay, after almost just a blink of an eye that Match was over and Ivan is the winner. Jannelliza shook her head before turning her back, bigla naman naka-salubong ni Jannelliza si General. Marvy.

"You must be proud that the leader of the Rebellion in the Philippines survived," General. Marvy said with a smirk on her face.

"Why are you making it sounds like I'm the reason behind his success?" Jannelliza asked.

"No reason," General. Marvy responded with a smug face.

Jannelliza quickly pulled out her mercury sword and pointed it to Marvy's neck.

"Don't challenge me Marvy, I already told you that I'll never be afraid of you. You can't beat me, I'm the strongest General in the history and not even you could do anything about it," Jannelliza firmly said.

Lumayo naman si Jannelliza at iniwan si Marvy na naka-hawak sa leeg n'ya.

Ivan's pov:

Tuwang-tuwa ngayon sila Cess at Dalisay dahil sa bilis kong pag-talo sa kanilang dalawa.

"You're so strong Ivan," Dalisay said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah, I didn't even noticed your attacks and how the way to take me down," Cess agreed.

"You need to know it," I responded. "You need to be quick on fighting the enemy because it's our only way to survive and to make it to the final battle"

"Well you're very right on that, I wonder if I'll be able to face one of you," Dalisay said with a smile on her face.

"Well maybe one of us may face each other while the other one is on final," Cess responded.

"I'll give the win to you Ivan," Dalisay suddenly said which made me look to her.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you're still young and I know that you'll be the one who can defeat the empire and make peace between the rebels and the empires," she responded.

At this very moment I knew that she's putting her trust on me and I know to myself that I need to protect it.

"How about you?" I asked to Dalisay.

"We know about this event and I'm already prepared to die," she responded.

"Don't worry R, I don't really care if I die too. I already passed the position to my sister because I got no assurance that I'll make it out alive," Cess agreed.

"You don't have to do this," I mumbled.

"It's ok R," she said with a smile.

"But your life is on the line," I responded with a serious tone.

"Don't worry about us R," They both responded.

Tumingin naman ako sa kanila at huminga ng malalim, at this moment I got no choice but to accept their decision because it's the only way I could do to help them.
