Chapter 13

Ivan pov:

Edrian and I both went to the empire because I wanna know what he meant that the empire raised their guards.

"Ivan we're near the empire and I can see some robotic cops, there's alot of them!" Edrian shouted while driving.

Pinalutang ko naman ang ilang bato sa harapan namin at pinatama sa ulo ng 4 na robotic cop, tahimik naman itinigil ni Edrian ang motor n'ya na isang kilometro ang layo sa Empire. I quickly pulled out my Scythe as we go near the empire and I can see alot of robotic cop outside.

"So they bring out a lot of Empire robotic cop outside just to make sure that no one can attack nor sneak in inside the empire?" I asked.

"That's right Ivan, Gen. Jannelliza is trying to make her move and there's no way in this world that we could know about it, " Edrian said while looking at some robots.

I stood there in disbelief, what the hell is happening in Ate's mind?

Arjhay's pov:

Kumakain ako ngayon ng almusal ko pero parang may kulang, tumingin naman ako sa paligid at napansin ko agad na wala si Edrian at Ivan.

"Napansin n'yo ba kung saan pumunta si Ivan at Edrian?" tanong ko kila Johnrey at Jerico.

"Sabi ni Boss Ivan pupunta raw sila ng empire para mag-masid," sagot ni Jerico sa tanong ko.

"Sila lang dalawa?" tanong ko rito.

"Oo," maikling sagot ni Johnrey.

Pansin ko naman na tila malalim ang iniisip ni Jerico kaya nilapitan ko ito.

"Ano problema tol?" tanong ko rito.

"Wala naman," sagot ni Jerico.

"He's having a hard time of knowing the other ability of his armor," Johnrey explained while reading a book. "He wanna harness the knowledge for his armor."

"Is that all?" I asked.

"Oo," maikling sagot ni Jerico.

My lips suddenly flashed a smirk when an idea pop in my head "Then follow me."

Nag-tataka man ay sumunod pa rin sa'kin si Jerico, huminto naman kami sa isang lugar na medyo malayo sa kampo.

"Johnrey, explain me his empire armory," I said before I sat down on a tree.

"Well the name of his armory is Million men's armor," he started before looking at Jerico and giving him a looks that he wants him to active his armor.

Jerico click a botton then his body slowly getting covered by some kind of leather but I know that nothing can break through it, his body looks like it has an armadillo scale and snake skin in it.

"A Million men's armor is made with different type of skin of animal that can me found in our planet earth," Johnrey said before he walk to Jerico's side. "Those skin has been pressed into this kind of armor and with the help of our advanced technology, they are also able to make it more stronger ang gave that armor a name of Million men's armor since it's so strong and believed that Heavenly weapon can't penetrate it."

"So basically your armory can almost be considered as heavenly armor," I commented.

"I know," Jerico uttered with a pause. "But I wanna use this armor to offense too, not just defense."

"Then we'll start from the basic," I replied

Tumayo naman ako sa harap nito at tinignan ang kabuuan ng armor nito, I easily noticed the gauntlet on his hands.

"That gauntlet has some offensive functions." I pointed.

Tinignan naman ito ni Jerico at tila sinuri.

"Paano mo naman nasabi?" tanong ni Johnrey.

Lumapit naman ako kay Jerico at parang pinindot ang isang botton dito, tila nagkarob ito ng nguso ng baril at parehong pulsuhan ni Jerico ay may mga bala.

"That armor is only made 8 years ago," I explained. "Isa yan sa 3 armor na sinubukan kong suotin dati."

Tumango naman si Jerico at tumingin muli sa tila baril n'ya.

"Try to shoot those rocks." I pointed at the stack of rocks.

Jerico acted like punched something and it triggers the bullet which led to a little explosion, Jerico tried it again and it was a success.

"Your armor can turn any type of bullet into an exploding one" I explained.

"So all this time I could also use this as an offense?" Jerico asked.

"Yes," I shortly responded.

"What else could it do?" Johnrey asked with curiosity in his voice?

"It can make a projectile wall as a shield, and it can also turn the shield into like 10 warrior projectile," I explained.

"That's amazing!" Jerico shouted with an excitement on his voice.

Third person's pov:

Habang nag-mamasid sila Ivan sa labas ng empire ay hindi nila alam na papunta na ngayon si Gen. Jannelliza sa direksyon nila.

"Marcial, I want you to handle the other one with a mask that covers its mouth while I'll handle the person who has the Venus Scythe." Jannelliza pointed at the direction of Ivan and Edrian.

Marcial click the botton of his Angel wings which released a mentalic wings, mabilis lumipad si Marcial sa direksyon nila Ivan pero naramdaman ito ni Ivan kaya mabilis n'yang tinulak si Edrian bago umilag.

"Damn it," Ivan uttered in his breath.

Susugurin na sana ni Ivan si Marcial pero mabilis ito lumipad kay Edrian at tinangay ito, susundan pa sana ito ni Ivan pero may muntik na tumama sa kanya na dagger.

"So you're the leader of the Rebellion, mukang malakas ka nga dahil kinaya mo ang tatlo sa pinaka galing kong sundalo." Pumapalakpak na sabi ni Jannelliza.

Si Ivan naman ay nagulat dahil hindi n'ya inaasahan na makakaharap n'ya agad ang kapatid nito, Ivan shooked of his head and tried to lowered his voice.

"I am," Ivan responded with a deep tone almost sounds like mocking Jannelliza.

Jannelliza pulled out her mercury sword and attack Ivan, Ivan was lucky enough to black Jannelliza's upcoming attack.

"Tignan natin kung malakas ka nga," ngising sabi ni Jannelliza.

Ivan quickly do a backflip away from his sister and swirl his Scythe because Jannelliza throws dagger on his direction, Ivan stood straight and attack his sister but Jannelliza was able to block it like her brother.

Ivan was able to land a kick to Jannelliz which led her to be separated from him, Ivan smirked because he knows that he can handle his sister but he can't kill her.

"How dare you to hit me like that!" Jannelliza firmly uttered before she slowly stand. "I'm gonna make you suffer so bad."

Jannelliza suddenly flew on the sky but Ivan was lucky enough to avoid the landing attack of Jannelliza, Ivan pulled his Scythe defend himself against his sister's attack.

Ivan's pov:

Jannelliza's attack is so fast but as much as possible I'm trying to match her speed, I quickly block her attack from above but I wasn't able to notice the punch and a kick from her.

"I'm the General of this empire, I won't let a peasant like you ruin my reputation!" Jannelliza roared madly.

That punch and kick are strong specially she's wearing a brass knuckle on her left hand, I quickly stood up and prepared myself from her another attacks. Jannelliza suddenly release a shock wave from her sword so I broke her shock wave using mine, my Scythe and her sword are both heavenly weapon so it means that our weapon are stronger that any empire weapon.

Jannelliza looked at my Scythe before eyeing on me. "So that's the Venus Scythe, it's considered as one of the heavenly weapon of the empire but too bad that a rebel like you is holding that."

"Atleast I'm not a pet of the empire," I coldly replied.

"What will you get for fighting against the empire?" Ate Jannelliza asked.

"A freedom that everyone deserves!" I roared.

Mabilis na sumugod sa'kin si Ate Jannelliza kaya sumugod na rin ako rito, tanging ingay lang ng mga sandata namin ang maririnig sa lugar kung saan kami nag-lalaba.

Mabilis naman umilag si Jannelliza nang muntik s'ya tamaan ng apoy na palaso, tumingin naman ako sa likod ko at nakita ko sila Jaiceph.

"Sakay na Boss, hindi ito ang tamang oras para makipaglaban!" Sigaw ni Louiza.

Nakita ko naman na mabilis tumatakbo papunta sa'kin si Edrian at binato si Jannelliza ng tila sticky slime nito.

"Tara na Ivan, hindi pa ito ang oras sabi ni Amo." Hawak ni Edrian sa balikat ko.

Tumango naman ako at sumakay sa Van, tinignan ko naman si Clarisse at sumenyas dito na paandarin na ang sasakyan.

"Grabe ka boss, kinaya mo yung lakas ni Gen. Jannelliza." Kalabit sa'kin ni Jaiceph.

"Mas nakakatakot pala talaga si Gen. Jannelliza pag nakikipag-laban," singit naman ni Edrian.

Jannelliza's pov:

I think I've already said all the curse words that I know inside my head while trying to remove this sticky substance in my hand.

"General!" Sigaw ng isang lalake.

Pag-tingin ko ay si Morrigan ito kasama si Kris Ann na tumatakbo.

"What is he doing here Kris Ann, you know that it's dangerous for someone like him to be outside the empire." I furiously asked.

"I forced her to take me to you after she saw you fighting, Kris Ann ilagay mo to kay Marcial." Abot ni Morrigan sa isang liquid.

Tumango naman si Kris Ann at pinuntahan si Marcial, tumingin naman ako kay Morrigan at may inilabas pa itong isa mula sa bag n'ya.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Sabi kasi ni Kris Ann na tila spider legs ang kalaban ni Marcial at natatandaan ko pa na na trap s'ya nito, humingi ako ng sample nung nabuong slime at nakagawa ako ng gamot or laban para mabilis tumigas ang slime na yan." Turo n'ya sa kamay ko.

Binuhos naman n'ya ito kung saan may slime ang kamay ko at mabilis itong nabuo, sinuntok ko naman ang nabuong slime kaya nalabas ko na ang kamay ko.

"Astig ka pala tol, akalain mo yun pwede kang gumawa ng laban sa parang sapot ng baklang gagamba na 'yun," ngiting sabi ni Marcial.

"Baka kasi makaharap mo ulit s'ya kaya ko gumawa ng ganon para sa susunod mahahabol mo pa' yun," bawi naman Morrigan.

"The guy with the full masked, he's the one we fought," Kris Ann stated while looking at me.

I don't know why but I feel like a small connection between me and the man that I faced.

"He's so strong that he was able to handle Me, Joan and Lia all at the same time," Kris Ann added.

I looked at her before I stab my sword in the ground. "I know that he's strong specially the way he move is like an expect assassin, he must be the reason behind the killing in the past."

"So that assassin might be stronger than you General?" Marcial asked.

"It might be yes because I can see some hesitation on his attacks, maybe no because he's also trying to match up my speed but he failed." I indicated before walking towards Morrigan.

Morrigan just smiled at me so I took a deep breath before saying something. "Thanks for the help Morrigan."

"Wala yun, tsaka ok na pala lunch natin," ngiting sabi nito.

Matapos kong marinig na sabihin nito ang lunch ay biglang kumulo ang tyan ko.

"Let's go, I'm hungry." I grabbed his hand and walks toward the empire.

I don't really mind if Kris Ann and Marcial saw me grabbing the hands of Morrigan, because all I know is it's bad to keep the food for waiting.
