Chapter 23

Ivan's pov:

Nakahiga ako ngayon ngayon sa higaan ko habang hinihintay kong pumasok si Arjhay, the door slowly opened and I saw Arjhay looking at me.

"Pasok," ngiting saad ko.

Pumasok naman si Arjhay kaya kinontrol ko ang pintuan para isarado at ilock ito, ngumiti naman kay Arjhay bago senyasan ito na umupo sa tabi ko.

"What happened?" he started with a question.

Instead of answering his question I just jumped into his arms and hugged him, Arjhay slowly stroke his hand on my back which made me smile.

"I'm so sorry," I responded.

He just slowly changed our position which made me sit on his lap while both of his hand are holding my hips, I smiled and plant a soft kiss on his lips.

"I love you," he sincerely said while his eyes is showing raw emotions.

"I'm sorry for what happened, nung nasa loob kasi tayo na kita ko ang mga pictures namin ni ate Jannelliza. Those pictures are before the accident, after the accident, during and after the expiremnts. Hindi ko na kontrol ang galit ko kaya hindi ko inaasahan na mag-lalabas ako ng malakas na pwersa," paliwanag ko.

He smiled before holding my hands and putting it to his chest. "I understand you Ivan and I'm always here to help you on everything, Alam kong medyo hirap kapang mag-bukas sa'kin pero kaya kong mag-hintay."

"I'm so thankful that I've met you," I sincerely said.

"Tara na, miss kana nila Edrian." Hila sa'kin ni Arjhay.

Pinigilan ko naman si Arjhay at tunulak paupo sa kama ko, ngumiti ako rito bago umupo sa binti nito at hinalikan s'ya sa labi.

"Love you," I said before running downstairs.

Lumapit naman ako kay Mommy at humalik sa pisngi nito.

"It's nice to see you smiling again," Mom said with a smile.

Arjhay joined me and mommy on our early lunch before we went to the camp, Edrian quickly ran to me and jumped while holding my shoulder.

"Look at this," Edrian said before dragging me to the table.

Edrian nodded at Johnrey, mabilis binuksan ni Johnrey ang monitor at lumabas ang presidente ng Russia.

"We're inviting every general of each country and bring 3 of your soldiers to join us on the yearly Rebels fight, this year we'll be trying to take each leader of the rebels on each country and made them fight till one of them survived. See you this upcoming November!" the president of Russia proudly said.

"What the hell!" Arjhay roared and everyone is silent because of it.

"They are gonna take me," I said with a smirk on my face.

"I'll kill them all," Arjhay madly said.

Everyone laughed at him because of his reaction.

Jerico went besides Arjhay and tap his shoulder. "Ivan is a heavenly weapon user, plus the fact that he's the strongest rebel known here in the Philippines."

"But we still don't know how strong Russia is," Arjhay fired back.

Huminga naman ako ng malalim bago lumapit sa monitor.

"Hindi ako papayag na makuha nila ako, kung makukuha man nila ako qy gusto kong gumawa kayo ng hakbang laban sa Empire," pagtitiyak ko sa kanila.

Nagulat naman ako nang bigla akong hilain ni Arjhay pero hindi ako pumalag dahil alam kong mainit ang ulo nito, Arjhay drag me all the way to the lake before letting go of my hand.

"Why would you say that?!" he angrily asked and I can see how furious he is.

"I'm just preparing everyone for what might happen Arjhay," I calmly said.

"Paano kapag mapahamak ka ha? Sige nga Ivan!" Galit na sigaw nito.

Imbis sumagot ay hinila ko ito at hinalikan, Arjhay froze but he slowly move his lips against mine.

"Don't worry about me Arjhay, kung makuha nila ako edi sisiguraduhin kong babalik akong buo." Hawak ko sa pisngi nito. "I'll do whatever it takes to comeback into your arms Arjhay," I added.

A small smile form in his lips, he really looks dashing when he smiles.

"Ayaw ko lang na mawala ka Ivan, paano na lang kung makita mo ang kapatid mo?" tanong ni Arjhay.

"Kaya ko ng harapin ang kapatid ko Arjhay," sagot ko rito.

Hinawakan naman ni Arjhay ang kamay ko at hinalikan ito pareho. "Kung makukuha ka nila, please promise me that you'll be back. Hindi ko kaya kapag wala ka sa tabi ko, I feel so lost like a child that has been abandoned by its own mother."

"I will never leave you Arjhay," I said with a smile.

Third person's pov:

Sinuot na muli ni Ivan ang maskara n'ya habang sinuot din ni Arjhay ang maskara n'ya na tinatakpan ang kalahati ng muka n'ya, Ivan and Arjhay didn't know that someone is actually spying on them.

"Should we do a move?" a Russian soldier asked.

"It's not yet the time, specially we haven't captured the leader of the 3 pirate groups here in the Philippines," the other man responded.

Ivan and Arjhay went back to the camp and saw Edrian scanning at something, lumapit naman si Ivan dito at tinignan.

"The leader of Hashibano Pirates has been captured already," Edrian said.

"Sinisimulan na nila rito sa Pilipinas," wika ni Ivan habang naka ngiti.

"Mukang sa'yo sila mahihirapan ah," ngising sabi ni Edrian.

Sasagot na sana si Ivan pero biglang dumating ang tinatawag nilang Amo kaya sumaludo sila rito, lumapit naman ito kay Arjhay at inabot ang isang envelope.

"I'll be sending you, Ivan and Edrian on that mission," Amo said with a serious tone.

Lumapit naman ito ngayon kay Ivan at binigay ang isang syringe.

"This is the new medicine of Jannelliza, the effect will last for 3 months." Amo offered the syringe to Ivan.

Kinuha naman ito ni Ivan at itinusok sa leg n'ya, he suddenly felt a little stronger effect of the medicine on his body.

Mabilis din nag-paalam ang Amo nila kaya lumapit na si Edrian at Ivan kay Arjhay.

"This is the secretary of the Philippine President right?" Edrian asked.

"Oo," maikling sagot ni Ivan.

"Sino-sino ba ang mga pinapapatay sa'tin ni Amo?" Pagdududa ni Edrian.

"Ang huli kong pinatay ay isang doctora na binebenta ang mga puso ng mga bata, ang bumibili naman nito ay ginagawang abo ang ang mga puso para gawing pinutura," paliwanag ni Ivan.

"So it means that the people we killed are all criminal that used their money to cover and protect their name," Arjhay madly uttered.

Binigay naman ni Arjhay ang envelop kay Edrian para kabisaduhin ito, nagulat naman bigla si Arjhay nang hilain s'ya bigla ni Ivan pasakay sa motor n'ya.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" tanong ni Arjhay kay Ivan.

"Just trust me!" Ivan shouted while driving fast.

After 40 minutes they both arrive in Laguna, a place where Rebel and Army friendly even the empire can't take this place peacefulness.

"What are we doing here in Laguna?" Arjhay asked.

Ivan just dragged Arjhay inside a small restaurant.

"Table for 2," Ivan said to the robotic waiter.

The robot lead them into an empty table and gave them the menu.

"This is Jisto Restaurant kumakain kami rito nung bata pa ako, itong Palakang Menudo the best." Turo ni Ivan sa isang pag-kain.

Pinindot naman ni Arjhay ang pulang bilog sa gitna ng lamesa at lumapit ang isang robot waiter.

"We'll take 2 order of Frog menudo, 1 whole kinulob na itik, bibingkang 2 order of Bibingka and 2 glass of water and pineapple juice," Ivan said before giving back the menu.

After 20 minutes of waiting their order finally arrived, bigla naman kumalma ang sikmura ni Arjhay matapos makita ang pag-kain.

"Enjoy the food Ma'am and Sir," the robot waiter said which made Arjhay and Ivan laughed.

Ivan and Arjhay quickly eat their food, Arjhay was so amazed of how delicious the meal is. After an hour they pay the bill and Ivan asked for a take out of kinulob na itik, Ivan and Arjhay both walked towards a cliff.

"This place is really beautiful," Arjhay said.

"I hope you enjoyed our first date," Ivan said while looking at the view.

Nagulat naman si Arjhay dahil sa sinabi ni Ivan, he never expected that he'll be going on a date with Ivan.

"What the hell?" Arjhay highly asked.

Tumawa naman si Ivan matapos makita ang muka ni Arjhay na parang lutang, hinawakan n'ya ang kamay nito at hinalikan sa labi.

"I really wanna surprise you Arjhay, mula nang maging tayo kasi hindi naman natin ito ginawa kaya ngayon naisipan ko na dalin ka rito para sa first Date natin." Himas ni Ivan sa pisngi ni Arjhay.

Arjhay couldn't control himself and he just suddenly grabbed Ivan on his hips and sealed his lips to Ivan's lips.

"Fvck I'm so Inlove with you," Arjhay genuinely said.

At this moment Ivan knew that Arjhay is the one he wanna spend the rest of his life with, mag-kadikit naman ngayon ang noo nila sa isa't- isa at parehong may ngiti sa labi.

"Thank you for coming into my life Arjhay," Ivan softly whispered but Arjhay heard it.

He smiled before holding Ivan's chin and lifting it.

"After this mission, gusto ko lumabas ulit tayo." Himas ni Arjhay sa pisngi ni Ivan.

"Just stay safe Arjhay," Ivan said.

"I'm not scared of anything Ivan, specially when it comes to you." Arjhay responded with a serious tone.

Tumingin naman ulit sila sa araw na palubog bago mapagpasyahan na umuwi, pareho silang sakay ng motor ni Ivan na may ngiti sa labi. Binaba naman ni Ivan si Arjhay sa tapat ng bahay nito bago mag-maneho pauwi, sinalubong naman agad ni Rea si Ivan matapos itong makita.

"May binili ako Ma," ngiting sabi ni Ivan bago iabot ang plastic.

"Abah kinulob na itik ito ah," paglilinaw ni Rea.

"Oo Ma, pumunta kami kanina ni Arjhay sa Laguna tas nag take-out ako n'yan," sagot ni Ivan.

"Ayusin ko na 'to at mag bihis ka muna," utos ni Rea kay Ivan.

Agad naman umakyat si Ivan at nag-bihis, pag baba n'ya at nakita n'ya agad si Rea na inaayos ang pag-kain nila.

"Good evening Ma." Halik ni Ivan sa pisngi ng Ina.

Tinapik naman ng marahan ni Rea ang braso nito bago paupuin, naging magana ang pag-sasalo ng mag Ina dahil kwinento rin ni Ivan ang tunay na relasyon nila ni Arjhay na agad tinanggap ng Ina.

"Kung saan ka sasaya anak ay susuporta ako," saad ni Rea habang naka-tingin sa pintuan ng anak.
