Chapter 6

After I woke up, I've been so energized, but not just with power but everything. Alpha Shawn and the others been trying to watch over me without me even knowing they were watching over me but I know they are.

Even when I'm at school, Phil is up my ass. He even changed all his classes to be with me but one class and that was because it was full and it was honors math class.

My parents wanted me to have the best so I can help take over their business one day since their real kids didn't want nothing to deal with it. Which I was happy too.

While I was in the cafè I was over hearing about the alphas son was coming home soon and all the ladies were excited that Robert was coming back so they can try and jump his bones.

While I was eating, Phil came over with a tray full of food and sat it in front of me. He slide it in front of me and grabbed a piece of fruit and put it close to mouth. I looked at him and smiled before opening my mouth.

Everyone looked but I didn't care nor did he. The alpha, the betas, and my parents done a ceremony for us to come out to the pack. Some were happy for us and some were discussed over it. That was the most important day of my life when he slide a promise band on my finger.

As I was thinking about of that day, someone was trying to mind link me. It was the alpha so I had opened it up.

"Boys, when y'all get home from school, come to my office please. I have something to talk to y'all." Alpha told us.

"Yes, alpha." Both Phil and I had said.

I was wondering what it could be but by what I've been hearing around here, I think I know.

Robert was coming home for sure.

Robert's POV

Its been awhile since I've been home. And I was glad I was coming home. This private school was really aggravating but done it for my parents so I can take over the pack one day. And well that one was coming this weekend.

When I was told a few days back that today was my day that I get graduate and leave this s**t hole, I was beyond excited. While I was hear, I had met my mate and I had emailed my parents about it. But the problem thing is, she's older than me. She was a teacher here and it was hard to keep us on a low key, about us or she would gotten fired but since my father knew the head master of the school, we had a little meeting.

That day was both exciting and horrible at the same time. When my father came, the head master knew it was business but didn't knew it was about my mate.

"Alpha Shawn, welcome once again." Head Master Wonderer said.

"Ah, its glad to see you again Head Master Wonderer. Its been like years, since we hung out."

"Yes, yes it has. But what brings you here?" She had asked.

"Its about my son and his mate. He has told me he met his mate here and well," my father said as he looked at me.

I cleared my throat and looked at my Head Master. "Its one of my teachers."

"Which one Robert?"

"Ms. Scarlett Mitchell."

Scarlett was from the blood moon pack, a huge pack that was good on their words. You didn't want to mess with them. When I got my wolf at 15 years old, I had smelt her. And when I saw it was my teacher well, we was f****d. Before we done anything, we talked about each other as friends.

She told me she was from blood moon pack and that her boyfriend she was dating, died during a war that happened 13 years ago and when he died, she lost herself. But the bad thing about her is that she has a kid by him. I mean the little girl is a cutie and looks dead ass like her.

On the weekends we all would hang out and enjoy each others company as a family. She daughter loves me to death. And the only thing that her daughter reminds her about her ex boyfriend is her name. She named her after him, Michelle.

"So Ms. Mitchell is your name? Do you know she has a daughter from her ex boyfriend that passed away 8 years ago."

"Yes, I do. And we all get along with each other. I may be like a few years older than Michelle but I adore her. And I get my mate is 30 years old but I don't care nor does she. Age is just a number all we care about is that were mates." I had said.

"And we know the rules are about teacher student dating thing is wrong that is why me, as a father and an alpha is coming to you a out this. I don't want her losing her job or my son getting kicked out." My father had said.

"Okay, that is reasoning with. As long as those two behave themselves and not show affection to one another in school then I am fine with it. Just don't let anyone know y'all are mates." Wonderer said.

I nodded my head and my father and I walked out of her office.

"Son, so when you come back home, she has to back with you. Even her child. So you need to sit her down and talk to her. And when the day, you come home, I'll have a little meeting of you two with her parents and me and your mother." He told me.

"I understand, father."

He nodded and then walked away.

That day was wonderful to hear about. And today is the day I leave with my mate and my step daughter.

Me, being 18 years old and her 30 years old is a huge age gap, even with her daughter being 13 years old. But she didn't see me as a father figured to her just yet at least. She saw me as a friend and older brother type figured but that was only when we were at school. But outside she knew who we was and she loved it.

When my head master handed me my diploma, I headed to the room I stayed in and packed my stuff. When I was done, I had headed out to find, Scarlett and Michelle to see if they were all packed up and ready to go.

When I got to their house, that was on campus, Scarlett was loading up her SUV with all their stuff that they wanted to take with them. When she saw me walking up, she ran to me and kissed my on my lips. I was excited to finally do this in public since I no longer go to that school.

"So Michelle and I are almost done. She's packing up her stuff animals and xbox stuff that you got her." Scarlett had said.

"Okay, I'll just put my duffle bad in the back seat then." I told her.

"So, I bet your excited to leave that school and to go back home?" She asked me.

"Yes, yes I am. And since I'm coming back and that I have you by my side, my father will definitely pass down the alpha title to me."

"I forget your the alphas son."

"Yes and your my soon to be luna."

"Yes, that is never gonna get old. I never really saw myself becoming a luna. My cousin was a luna type and I saw how she ran things until she and her mate died. And their son either went missing or died. No one really knows." She told me.

"If he is alive, just hope he's in a damn good home. If not, he's in a better place." I told her.

She nodded her head then hugged me. I knew that day will always haunt her for the rest of her life. She lost two people in her family and I would have gone crazy if that was me. As we were hugging, I heard someone clear their throats behind us. When I looked it was Michelle, with her arms full.

"Hey, do you need help?" I asked her.

"Yeah, kinda." She said.

I walked over to her and grabbed the suitcase from her hands and carried it to the truck of the SUV.

"So, are you excited to see my pack?"

"Yes, I am. I'm excited to finally run in my wolf form." She said.

Michelle got her wolf about 6 months ago and it was bad for her. She couldn't even shift right but glad I was there with her, telling her what to do. Her mother was teaching a class when it happened. Just glad that they had a basement in their small house so it was big enough for her to shift without breaking anything in the house. But she couldn't run, she walked around the small area enough to get use to her wolf.

When I put the suitcase in the truck, I clapped my hands. "So is that everything?" I had asked.

"Yep, I think so." Michelle said.

"Yea, it is. The rest they can throw away. Or keep I don't care." Scarlett said as she closed the back end.

"Alrighty then, let's get this show on the road." I said as I walked over to the driver side.

I was driving her SUV, since I knew how to get home from here. Even though the east river pack was by Pearl River, on the border of Louisiana and Mississippi, it was a few hours away from this school. But me driving, I would get there in no time.

I kissed Scarlett on the lips before driving out of the drive. She looked around the area, to take in one last look of it because we would probably never see it again.

She quit the school just to come home with me and if she wants to teach again, there's one down from the lands that teaches the young ones before they head off to high school. It would be perfect for her. And I rather she went there then the high school, because it was far away run for me at least if something happened. And her home pack isn't that from either its about a few hours north east from our pack.

About 45 minutes later, we finally arrived at my pack lands. When I turned down our long as drive way, we was greeted by some of the wolves that was running around the property. Michelle, she loved watching the wolves run around the SUV. She put her hand out the window and tried to reach for one of them but because I was driving a little fast she couldn't do I slowed down so she could. When the wolf saw she was trying to reach over, he got close to her hand and she just giggled. The wolf howled then took off ahead of us.

"Oh my god, he was so soft." She had said.

"How do you know that was a boy?" Scarlett asked.

"Because of how big he was."

"Well, you was right but we have some females that are big in our pack too." I told her.

"Oh you do, I can't wait to see them." She squealed.

Both me and Scarlett chuckled at her. She was adorable for her age and I missed being that age sometimes just to be around my family.

Finally reached the house and boy, everyone was there in wolf form and human. My parents were standing on the steps with the beta and delta family and their kids. Except two of them. I figured they were still in school or around somewhere.

When I stopped the car, I looked at Scarlett for a moment before getting out of the car. She smiled at me then looked at her daughter.

"Behave." She told her.

"I will mommy." Michelle told her.

I smiled at them then got out of the SUV. I opened Michelle's door so she could get out. I held her hand as walked over to Scarlett's door and opened it. When she got out, she looked at everyone then back at us and smiled a little. I could tell she was nervous as hell. I kissed her hand before walking over to my parents.

As I was walking over, everyone that was human bowed their heads at me, those were wolves, lowered their bodies at me.

"My son, the future alpha is finally home!" My father spoke aloud.

"Father, its glad to be back. And back with my mate, our future luna, and daughter." I said looking at both my girls.

"They are pretty son." My mother said as she came over to me. "Glad I miss the heck out of you." She said as she kissed my cheek.

"As did I mother." I said.

"So who is these two lovely girls here?" My mother asked.

"Well, this is Scarlett, my beautiful mate and her beautiful daughter, Michelle." I said. "Scarlett, Michelle, this is my loving caring mother/Luna Heather and my strong headed father/alpha Shawn."

"Alpha, Luna." Scarlett and Michelle said bowing their heads.

"Oh stop, were family. No need for titles." My mother said.

They nodded at her then looked at me. I smiled at them before leaning over to kiss Scarlett on the cheek.

"Son, everything is ready for this weekend. I just have to let your soon to be beta and delta know what's going on." My father asked.

"Who is my beta and delta?" I asked.

I didn't know who they were nor was I allowed to pick them either. Since the deal was that if I went to this school that my father had to pick my back ups. Which I gladly took up that for him. Since I wasn't here to know who was good for me.

"Your beta is Phil's son Phillip Jr. And the delta was kinda hard, but I have the perfect one for your delta. Its your delta's adopted son, Devin." My father told me.

"And where are they?" I asked as I looked around.

"Their still in school but I told them to come to my office after school." He told me. "And speaking of office, please follow me to it so we can talk a little before they show up." He told me.

"Okay, let me take them up to my room." I started to say.

"Oh, let me." My mother said. "I have the perfect room for such a beautiful little girl." She said as she went to grabbed Michelle's hand out of my hand.

Michelle looked at me and her mother. I just smiled and nodded at her.

"If my mother bites, tell me. I'll handle her." I told Michelle as I kissed her cheek.

"Oh son stop. This grandma won't dare to bite a sweet child like her."

Scarlett laughed. "Oh don't let those curls and dimples full you, Heather. She's got my attitude and we're feisty. But her fathers sweetness." Scarlett said as she looked at Michelle.

As they went with my mother to our floor, I followed my father to his office with his beta and delta behind us. My father wrapped his arm around my shoulder, just like old times. This was one thing I sure missed was being with my father again. Well being home mostly.

When we got to his office, he sat in his chair and I sat across from him. James and Phil sat on the couch behind us as my father got comfortable for a moment.

"So, your beta and delta, their mates to each other."

"Wait what? Ain't they both boys?"

"Yes, their gay. But don't put them down. You know Devin is my god son and we protect him because of what he is."

"What gay?" I started to snicker a little.

My father growled and hit his hand on his desk. "No, not because he's gay. You know how we told you that he was having trouble, well that trouble was he came into his powers. Powers from the moon goddess."

"Wait, so the rumors are true. I just didn't know that it was my cousin." I had said. "Is that why you picked him as my delta because he's mates to my beta or because he's family?" I asked.

"No, I feel like he would be perfect for it. He can throw down anything and the pack looks up to him. Some of them are scared of him because of his powers." He told me.

"Alright then, it's settled." I said as the office door has opened.

The once little scared toddler was all grown up to a tall muscular tan young man. I remember the day, my father found him. We were play mates for awhile until I was shipped off to get ready for this alpha stop.

Both the boys were smiling and laughing until they saw me look at them. Then it has stopped. I smirked at them then looked at my father.

"They are durable. They will fit just fine." I had said.

"Fit as what, uncle Shawn?" Devin asked.

"As Robert's beta and delta." He said.

"Wait what?" Phil asked.

"Phil your Robert's beta and Devin is Robert's delta. And since your mates its perfect. Least we know y'all will have each other backs. Y'all were friends when y'all were younger."

"Uncle Shawn, but how can I be delta when I'm not part of this pack let alone James and Jamie's son?"

"Your part of this pack since the day I bought you here. And by the whole blood thing, it doesn't matter. Its who I have picked for the spots." He said.

"Yes, sir." Devin had said.

"The ceremony is this weekend boys. Better get enough rest because once we receive our titles play time is over." I told them as I got up and walked out of the office and head up to my room.

Just hope my father is right about this. Expressly having a stray as my delta and mostly having gays as my back ups. Just hope the pack is okay with all of this.
