Sarah Madden peered out the window of the Trans-Pacific Airbus as it taxied to its destination at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. Under the stark lighting from the control tower’s floodlights, the battered terminal appeared ancient and ghostly. But she was back in the land that had somehow claimed her, and soon she’d be in Frank’s arms. Already, she could feel his body pressed against her.
