I watch his back turn to me as he left me on the route to the mansion, and my heart sank. Not only because he misunderstood me and the words I didn't even speak, but because he didn't even allow me to explain.
I walked back inside with my heavy heart. My hesitation was not because I had not gotten over Riley and I was still in love with him! Hell no! I will never give my heart to a person who rejected me out of their selfishness.
I still have a lot of things to figure out, I still need to find my root. Jumping into this is by far the best thing for me at the moment but what if it's not completely it? What if there is another higher purpose for me somewhere else?
