His body went limp for a few minutes as he panted through the pain. Eyes always on mine, as he watched me move towards him. I promised myself I wouldn’t let anyone suffer. Then I smelt it, a faint smell on him. It smelled like a sweet, floral scent. My heart rate sped up, as the sweetest smell filled my nostrils.
I was so confused and caught up in it that I didn’t see him attack until he was latching on to my neck about to clamp down. Gripping his feline neck, I squeezed until I heard a loud snap as his neck broke. His jaw went limp as he slipped to the ground with a loud thud.
I lifted his body up, as I scented him again. Trying to understand why he has two smells.
