Kaylie’s POV
I haven’t seen Jake in a couple of days. We aren’t trying to avoid each other whatsoever; I have been busy unpacking. Even though we fully moved in about 4 days ago, everything is pretty much unpacked. Both of my parents had a few days off from work to deal with the move, so the three of us put our heads down and got mostly everything put away so we didn’t have to deal with it later.
We did exchange numbers, so we texted back and forth a few times. But it has only been sporadic since I haven’t been checking my phone as much. I did meet his parents last night. It was kind of eventful since I wasn’t aware that they were over.
Last night I was in my room wearing a long t-shirt and spandex shorts watching Netflix. I got thirsty, so I headed downstairs to get a glass of water. B
