Kaylie’s POV
Today was my first day of senior year at my new school, Elk Creek High. And saying I was nervous was an understatement. I haven’t attended an actual school since the beginning of April since I finished my junior year online or tucked away in the office of our school. I’m not worried that I will be picked on, because I know my friends have my back. I am more nervous about me being the new girl and that immediately drawing attention to me, which I am not a big fan of. But I can’t focus on being nervous or I am going to ruin this day. I have the chance at a fresh start to move past all the things that happened to me. Even though I am nervous, I am excited to go back to school. I actually love school and learning; I can’t wait to be a teacher.
