"This is exciting," Esme said as we stood in front of the Vampire castle. "Feels like something new is starting." Havi smiled at her. "Yes it does," he agreed. Then Havi looked at me. I shook my hands out, and straightened my suit jacket. I've never worn a suit in my life. Now I know why. It's uncomfortable. "Relax," Havi whispered to me. "Everything is going to be fine." I nodded, but I couldn't help the anxiety that was eating at me. It didn't help that my mother had a similar reaction to my father. She slapped me across my already bruised face. My brother and sister were sad, but not angry. I think that they understood more than our parents. Alec is just a bit sour that he has to become the pack's new Beta now. I was happy that they weren't upset. I hope that one day I can see
