"Lydia, are you in position," Elis, our team leader, asked through my earpiece.
"Yes," I replied quietly.
"Good, get ready for the signal," he said.
I love being on missions. It really makes me feel like I have a purpose. And I'm good at it. Like right now.
Right now, we aren't too far away. We got word of a group of rouges nearing our territory. It's already weird enough that rouges are banned together.
Werewolves become rouges when they either abandon their packs, or get kicked out. They lose most of their humanity over time. It causes them to become more animal than anything.
Which means that banning together isn't something they normally do. Mom wanted us to check it out. My normal tea
